How long will the batteries last on the lowest output level?

At its five lumen setting it will run for 600+ hours

how long does the light last at it's maximum output level?

It will depend on things like the version of the light/firmware, ui settings, specific emitters and batteries usedb I think 5hrs is a reasonable estimate. We typically use ours (we have three) at low levels and I haven’t tested runtimes personally. Whatever they are, it’s an excellent product. If you google Sofirn LT1 runtimes there are lots of tests and runtime graphs available.

How do you turn off the green indicator light while its on?

You should be able to change it by clicking the power button 7 times from off. This will switch through the different modes for the button light (allows you to choose the button being off/low/high/flash).
