I got this album when it first came out and have bought many different Christmas albums since. Whenever I buy a new Christmas album my first thought is "Will it be better then Celine's?" The answer is always no. Some albums do come close. Josh Groban's new one Noel was wonderful. Sara Mclachlan's was breathtaking and Jana's was beautiful and unique..but it wasn't the same. Celine's voice has the power to make you feel these songs like no one else can. Every single song on the album is amazing! There is no fillers here. Plus about half the songs were new and written the year it came out. Very rare when most Christmas albums now have mostly covers and a couple of new ones. I don't think there will ever be another Christmas album that can top this. Unless Celine decides to record a new Christmas album. :D

john Lennon may have written the song Happy Christmas The War Is Over, but as far as I am concerned, Celine Dion Does 100 times better than he has done with his own song. This song alone sends chills down my spine that makes Christmas feel warm and delightful. Also, the first track o holy Night is also amazing! I think there is only one or two tracks that I liked a little, but that is absolutely impossible to beat in buying any album ever! So I rate this CD 5 stars, and have waited for it a long time and glad to have it as part of my Christmas music collection. My dad even said the war is over is his favorite and other people who have heard it also loves it. Give the woman her award, she earned it on that one.

I didn't start off even liking Celine. Even though she came from a huge family with a moderate income, I still didn't care for her. Celine had to prove to me that she was capable of earning my respect. And she finally did. Once she sang the first note on stage and I was in auditorium to hear her, I became her fan. She was so down to earth with the audience, everyone, she sang with so much spirit. I looked around at the audience, and they were mesmerized with every note that she sang. Celine brought the audience into her world whether she was singing or conversing. Celine, I will continue to purchase your music and teach it to my students. Your CDs are so great, you sound as if you're in the same room. Thank you!
