Charge 40 PD

I bought this storage battery primarily for backpacking and sea kayaking trips to recharge my phone, camera, GPS, sat beacon and assorted other electronic devices. I needed to replace two older GoalZero devices that had failed, but due to the input or output ports breaking and becoming unfixable. I wanted something that could power all of my essential devices for 5 days while traversing the Olympic Mountains, something that would be able to survive the rough-and-tumble of my backpack and perhaps a little moisture, and not be too heavy, as I can't carry a backpack much more than 20-25 lbs for multiday backpacks. It lived up to all of the demands I put upon it, and had significant charge left over. It is marginally heavy for backpacking, and it is expensive, but it really does perform!

Works great, weighs down my purse. This charger is high quality and holds the charge nicely. I did not pay attention to weight and it's on the heavy side. Still gets five stars because of how well it works and it's nobody's fault but mine that I ignored weight ;)

Great portable charger. Holds a charge for a really long time and charges quickly. It’s easy to travel with, or for a quick charge on the go, while you’re out at a restaurant, kids soccer game, etc.

Charges multiple devices at a time. Heavy but worth buying.

Expensive, and the indicator lights stopped working after a short time. The “warranty” process was a joke, just endless back and forth until I finally gave up because it wasn’t worth my time. Never again. It should have been as simple as sending it back, confirming it was defective, and issuing a replacement, no questions asked.

This is a lot of power in a small box, this is about the size of 3.5in exterior hard drive(the older ones from ten years ago) and weighs about the same, so you don't want to drop it on your anything, will make a good paper weight while using. It charges fairly fast although I have not let it get to 0%, but it only took about and 1.5 to charge fully form 50%. It can charge with USB, USB C, and conduction charging on the top surface. I have not used it for several things at once so don't know how quickly it saps the battery but It will keep my computer(MacBook air) charged more or less all day without any issues and easily charges my peripherals. The case is very durable and as I said the weight you want to be mindful of dropping it( it won't break but it might break whatever it falls on). Great for remote working or even camping or road trips, especially if you don't have a car with all the new charge ports. I also like having it around during storm season because we can keep phones charged in case of power outages.

This item is lightweight and compact for how much juice it holds. It also charges my phone much faster than my regular wall outlet charger. Don’t leave home without it!
