Taste and appearance.
The taste of these anchovies was horrible. They were not white nor were they in individual pieces they were all clumped together. We were not able to eat them. Especially for the high pri.Thank you

These anchovies from Patagonia Provisions are undeniably toothsome, though mild enough to satisfy tender palates. Their quality appears respectable, though one might quibble about their deceptive hue, which is not exactly white. happily free from excessive saltiness characteristic of lesser anchovies, they rest gently in an olive oil of superior caliber.

You might as well eat a raw lemon
Very disappointed in the taste. I'm having a devil of a time finding northern Spanish anchovies in just EVOO. Instead I thought I'd give these a go, but, found the lemon flavor completely take over. I still have no idea what the anchovies taste like as the their flavor was masked. I will say the texture of the anchovies was also a bit disappointing. All in all I would not buy these again.

Delicious and Sustainable!!!
I ordered these Patagonia anchovies to make anchovy toasts and also for a homemade caesar salad dressing. Delicious!! There's a lot of product in the tin so definitely getting your money's worth, and the flavor was great. I also like the extra bonus of these being responsibly sourced. I would definitely re-purchase - all the Patagonia tinned fish products I've tried have been high quality and good flavor, these included.
