Is it worth upgrading from the original jitterbug to the fmj?

I certainly wouldn't say you shouldn't upgrade, but if there's a difference in sound quality, it's so subtle that my ears can't detect it.

I am using df red on my cell phone. would this improve sound quality of cell phone as a source, or is is mainly for reducing noisier pc sources?

I have the blue and it works great with my cell phone. Add some high quality noise cancelling headphones and you'll have a high end quality listening experience.

Can the jitterbug be plugged to my bluray player usb port and improve my listening experience when I watch movies. I have a nice home theater set up.

If your USB on the DVD is a USB standard port then yes it will function. As far as improving your sound, the only thing that this thing does, as far as I know, is filter noise between devices. If your thing that needs improvement is a noise issue then this could help. If you have other issues you are trying to improve then this product is not likely to do anything for you.

i have a cb radio on my motorcycle and get interferance when transmitting. will this help reduce this noise

i would say no. interference on your cb is most likely from the ignition system on your bike. make sure you have resister sparkplug wires and resister spark plugs.
