Works great
No more wasted beans for me. Neatly keeps all freshly ground beans in the basket, tamper fits, easy to put on and take off. Wish I had this 3 years ago when I bought my barista express

Better than plastic version
We use this funnel for our Breville barista, and it fits beautifully! Strong enough to hold as a shed and the extra tongue on it helps push the button nicely. We had two plastic funnels of the sort, and really enjoyed both of them, but had to return for cracks and lack of durability. This one has lasted for months now & still looks brand new! Works SO WELL!! Very few coffee grounds spilled now! Saves us $ cash on waste!

Why pay more?
This is a must have to make getting the correct amount of coffee each time. I agonized with all the different offerings and almost paid allot more. The complaint that this does not fit tight is totally wrong. This fits very tight and I cannot see how a more expensive unit would work better than this. I would strongly recommend purchasing this. Eliminates the mess and Eliminates the guess, of how much coffee to load filter with

It works great!
I bought a dosing cup, but I saw this and decided to get it. I like using this so much better than the dosing cup. The quality is aluminum and it works great, fits perfectly with my 53mm portafilter(Breville Barista Express) You should get one!

I had to fix it with a file
It's a solid, well-made piece of metal, but it's definitely too tight for my 1 year old Breville Barista. Luckily it's easy to fix with a small file, and in 10 minutes it fits perfectly. The three tabs must be filed to make the opening wider (see the arrow in the pic). Once done, it works great. I would have given it 5 stars, but i give it 4 because I had to fix it

I wish I had this before
With my Breville BES870XL, I do measure either 17.5 or 18 grams of coffee beans before loading into the hopper. This will almost always overflow when grinding at my dialed in coarseness. This device allows for that overflow and a full grind without removing the portafilter. I tamp with it on and then brew my espresso. It is now a part of my workflow.

Just buy it
I waited out buying one of these due to plenty of excuses, which one, do I need to spend the money on it, is it going to scratch the portafilter, will it make a difference. It doesn’t scratch, it makes a huge difference. Honestly it’s an insult Breville doesn’t include something like this, I used to jiggle the portafilter while the coffee was grinding and still made a mess, when I use this attachment there is absolutely no mess, I do a light tamp after grinding before taking off the funnel, then I finish tamping. Little to no coffee grounds spilled.
