I decided to try it because the standard one that I have bought never produces the rise I want and this finally made my pizza crust perfect.

Yeast works well, although the vacuum seal was broken before arriving.

I have used SAF yeast for many years to make many kinds of dough in my bread maker and it has never let me down It is much more economical than the small jars which are only good for about 12 loaves of bread. I don’t just bake bread, though! I make sweet rolls and English Muffins and I want rising consistency every time. I like making half-size loaves as gifts for friends and for new neighbors. I began buying it at the recommendation of a major mill that produces a great unbleached flour and have never been disappointed! Highly recommended!

Bread, buns, whatever, this is the best yeast hands down. We use it weekly and each time it gives you the PERFECT rise! The last two bags made it a year when transferred to a glass mason jar and vacuum sealed. We keep them in the fridge. Best bang for your buck as it has an excellent longevity so long as you store it properly. We use it in all our breads!

Works really good. I got the other one in red, didn’t do as a good job.
