Good value for money: Many users report that these modules work as expected for 10 Gbps fiber links and deliver full 10 G speeds with proper multimode fiber (OM3/OM4, LC) up to ≈300 m. They’re often praised for being plug-and-play and compatible with a broad range of switches and NICs (Cisco, Dell, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, etc.), though results can vary by brand and firmware. Especially for home labs, small business networks, and DIY deployments, they’re seen as a cost-effective alternative to OEM modules. Decent reliability: Some users who have used them for a year+ have reported no failures or speed issues. Physical build quality (metal housing, low power draw) is generally considered fine for frequent use.

Well packaged in metal tins. Works with qnap QSW-2104-2S switch and Intel pcie 520 chipset running on freebsd. Very happy. :-).

Fonctionne comme cela devrait. Troisième commande du même produit.

These worked exactly as expected. As others have noted, they do run hot, but in an open area the heat dissipates without any real problems. My home network now operates with the bandwidth that was my goal.

They work just fine. Make sure that you match your transceivers on the same run of fiber. That means, they should be the EXACT same transceiver on both ends of the same cable. Otherwise, you may have different light frequencies and they won't communicate with each other. Simple plug and play, self powered through your device and should last a long time.
