Very useful and good at this price.
We used this product on professional shoots several times and it works very well. Color temp is on point. And it is very bright for its size. Battery at full brightness isn't super long but the good news is it can be charged easily & quickly. It can also be used while charging so an external pack can be used if needed. It is super small and light and very very easy to fit in small places and hide. It's not going to balance out the sun by any means but for a quick light run & gun light that is < $50 is is well worth the price.

Great and worthwhile light to have in one's kit...
This light is bright in the dark, so-so as an indoor fill, and essentially worthless in full-on daylight. For its price, it's worth having in your pocket for those limited applications. Good job, for its intended use!

Aputure AL-M9 Tub Vlog Review -Fantastically Small light!
The media could not be loaded. BedVlogs Review: Great Aputure AL-M9 LED Light vs CRAPPY Sima 64 LED lightQuick Showdown in a TUB Review #aputure :Aputure AL-M9 LED LightvsSima SL-300LXi On-Camera LED Light (5300K)Obviously great natural light is always the VERY best. And a nice LED lighting kit like the great Aputure HR672W is wonderful. But the best light [like the best camera] is always the one you have one you. This LED light you can ALWAYS have in your pocket. One year ago i had never heard of Aputure, then i started to do an INSANE amount of research when looking for an inexpensive LED lighting kit. I quickly discovered prolific reviews that shows Aputure Made great low cost products and i quickly ordered the Aputure HR672W [~$250] LED lights. And we love them here at the Bed Vlogs. That said, i have many times just had a Sony Action Cam or an iPhone and NO LIGHT and wanted to vlog. So i tried the Aputure AL-M9 and and the Sima Sima SL-300LXi. And i could not believe HOW INSANELY bad the Sima was and how INSANELY good the Aputure AL-M9 was. And the Aputure is SOOOO much smaller which makes it the obvious choice.About the only wish for the Aputure AL-MP lights would be that it’s charging cable were USB type C instead of Micro USB. I believe USB C is the cable of the future and would love one cable to rule them all. Also, it would be great to have a second larger size of this kind of light too. Also, pocket sized 8’ light stands would be great if Aputure could figure a way to make these pocket sized too.-- Eric ZORK Alan [Mac Consultant since 1984]

Small, but fierce!
I have a food blog and this light has been totally kick ass! I've recommended it to several other bloggers that area also highly satisfied with their purchase. This is the bet for the incredible value. On the lowest setting, the light is still pretty bright, but the brightness is adjustable and when it's fully charged - it gets hella bright! It comes with a nice cushiony carrying case. The case is too bulky to keep in my purse, so I have it in a small cloth bag. It's small enough to hold comfortably in one hand, but packs a punch line a much larger light. The charge lasts for a pretty long time. I only charge it every couple of weeks.

A neat, portable, bright light source.
Great for on-the-go lighting for photo and video, and can provide versatile accent lighting for sets. There are nine brightness levels available, and produces quite a lot of power at its brightest setting. It does not accept batteries, but can be charged via USB which is very convenient. Its front diffusion panel attaches via magnets, and will accommodate the use of colored gels to make up for not being able to adjust the color temperature. Each of the 9 LEDs, while bright, are separated enough that they each act as an individual light source which can result in overlapping shadows. Its size also limits its usability somewhat, as it needs a lot of diffusion to provide even lighting on its own. Also keep in mind that as its battery loses charge, the LEDs decrease in brightness. If you're on the go, it's best to have a way to keep it charged.

Best light that I take everywhere!!
I take this light everywhere I go. Are restaurants getter darker and darker or is it just me.it’s bad enough I have to use my flashlight on my phone just to read the menu but imagine trying to take a picture of your food? I’m so glad I saw someone using this on Instagram and they put the link. I immediately ordered it. So many brightness settings and easy to charge. Once charged it lasts for a long time. Pictures and videos come out amazing. I’m so glad I invested in this. Worth every penny.

Light, Small, Powerful
This light was needed for some photography/videography work, and more recently Zoom chats and live streams. It was wonderfully small and light so it was no issue bringing it with me when I needed it, or to mount it on a small tripod and get angles I needed. It charges easily (almost docked a point for not being USB-C as that would've been best though) and holds the charge well. It also works while charging for essentially unlimited use. It is a must for my kit and I highly recommend that.I do just need to say though, that you might be better off buying the more expensive/higher end Aputure Amaran MC RGBWW Mini On Camera Video Light,3200K-6500K/ its essentially the same size and at least as bright with nice remote control abilities and light warmth controls. It is $100, and you'll be hard pressed to find better than the Aputure AL-M9 for $50, but the extra functions really are one's you'd hope for.
