WORKED WELL HAVE DONE MANY GRAFTS WITH IT

I considered trying the art of grafting for a number of years and only when I came across this tool I gave it a go. If you just used similar size branches and after cutting slight them together it keeps the whole cambium attached to each other.

All the tools you need for the job. It will take me until spring to understand how to use them.

The tool itself seems reasonable although does not produce a particularly sturdy graft compared with a typical whip and tongue. The cutting blades are not very sharp, meaning the rootstock often gets stuck and it takes some time to wiggle it free. The grafting knife is not fit for the purpose, not nearly sharp enough and does not hold sharpness well even when separately sharpened. Overall a little disappointed.

A cracking little tool to enable you to begin grafting quickly and very effectively. I transferred three different apples trees on to existing apples trees. Only 2 failed which is more to do with my learning. Hopefully the rest will take and I will confound many people on my local allotment site. It's worth buying for that reason alone!

Received today from Amazon UK, item is not as described, quality is average and not a Fujiwara imposed. I paid more than market price considering best quality item but I was wrong...same tool available for low price in local market.

Neat kit. The only downside is if only appears to work for small (1/2" or less) branches. The knife it came with needs to blade finished sharpening. Comes with everything one needs to graft small plants.
