Drive Medical Deluxe Folding Blind Cane, Reflective Red

I bought it recommended by a friend, and I was reluctant because how it looked. Then when arrived it changed my opinion. It is very light and strong. The colors are taped in but nothing to worry about. I have been using it for a month as a backup stick. It is a good lighr and sturdy cane.

This is a great cane, it has reflective red and white stickers and it folds quite compactly. When opened it is quite sturdy. The hollow links are linked together with a thick, heavy duty bungee cord inside. I also like that the ends of the little links have smoothed out edges to prevent the bungee cord from damage. It has a bit of spare bungee on top to be used as a wrist loop. I wish the loop was a bit longer, so it could be used to tie up the links when folded, and not need the included carrying case. The nylon bumper which contacts the ground seems pretty durable and smoothly glides over cement and other hard surfaces but drags a bit on carpet. All in all a good quality cane for blind people.

I want to begin by clarifying that I'm not actually blind. This served as a prop for my Matt Murdock costume for Halloween. It complemented the costume perfectly. My friends were even asked if I was genuinely blind. It's quite durable and can be disassembled into four connected pieces, making it easy to store when you don't need it for 'seeing.'

Was too short for me but I used this mostly as a visual indicator for others to know that I'm visually impaired so they understood why I may be looking really hard at something or standing there awkwardly. This made people ask more often if I needed assistance and thus easier on stores or restaurants

I'm super delighted with this product. Initially I needed it really quickly for a cosplay of Terezi, from Homestuck. As in, the Con was coming up and I still hadn't ordered my dang cane yet. I decided to go with this cane and put in my order seeing that the delivery date would be two days before the con. Kinda stretching it but I needed one! Two days later I got a message from Amazon saying that my payment method failed meaning my cane would not be delivered yet. I was pretty stressed out seeing it wouldn't come in time and they wouldn't let me cancel the order. so I looked around at local stores and found a store that did carry it. today I planned on going to get it after breakfast but guess what showed up at my door a DAY after the payment was fixed. My cane. I was extremely happy and despite the payment problems I'm really happy that it came way earlier than expected. Also, it's extremely sturdy and looks perfect.
