Best investment of your life
Definitely the best investment for protecting your precious knees. Heavy duty, robust velcros, padding and mesh. Fall a good share of times on it without feeling it on my knees. Very comfortable, well designed and works well.

Great vert ramp pads
Fall and get back up

100% Worth the money
Best investment I’ve ever made. I’ve fallen more times than I can count and before I had these I’d have to take a week off from skating. Now I fall and still skate everyday. Really helps with the fear of progression too.

Love them
I have been skating for 8 months and when I got these my knee issues went away. They make quick cross overs a tad harder. My boyfriend has started to have acute knee pain and got these for him for christmas can't wait to see him open them!

protection is out of this world, comfort is so-so
The protection these pads offer at the skate park is incredible, these have saved me several times and allow me to slide out unharmed without having to run out of a bail, however compared to the Rectors of days gone by, they pinch quite a bit making me less likely to wear them

Knee pads for Roller Derby
greatest knee pads ever! At first they feel HUGE, but when I started practicing in them I fell in love by the end of practice. They are still holding well into this season and that is impressive since I am aggressive on my pads.

Like a lot of brands now, coasting on reputation alone.
These knee pads aren’t worth $40, let alone $100+. Yet another American brand coasting on prior reputation while moving manufacturing to Asia and producing a low end China product for made in USA prices. These used to be the world’s best pads. Comfortable, tough, and well produced. What I have in front of me is overpriced garbage. I sized up from the guide and they’re still small. The shape is so poor that it looks like I ratchet strapped a soccer ball to my knee. The lower strap is so thin you can see through it. Even if these fit right, the fit, finish, and materials are likewise garbage. I got into these back in the 2000’s because I had numerous friends working as “sliders” at a nationally famous Halloween event. They were the best pads I’d ever seen or worn. I reroofed a garage in an old pair of these. I’ve recommended them for years. I now regret that as I don’t know when they starting making an overpriced inferior product, but sometime between the pair I got circa 2012 and now they have started making generic junk that is a pale comparison to the old stuff. Shame on 187 Killer Pads.

SUPER bulky
These knee pads are far more bulky than your average pad. The Fly knee pad is more what most people are used to. If you are looking for extra cushion when taking big falls on a vert ramp, these are probably your best bet. If you are longboarding or using your pads for other sports too, these will likely be too thick. I use my pads for longboarding and for other action sports like spelunking. These were too bulky and stuck out too far for me.

Son mucho mas grandes que otras marcas, puede que no sean tan comodas. Pero en cuanto a seguridad son las mejores. Te puedes caer sin miedo y tus rodillas estarán a salvo
