Had to use something to help me and my kiddo out their braces bands on. This work beautiful. My 8 year old used this until he figured out on his own where the little hooks are.

The dentist told me to start putting rubberbands in every day but they didn't tell me how difficult it would be to reach the back of my mouth to fit a rubberband on a bracket on the furthest tooth. They used some tweezer to do it instantly at the dentist but I could not do it with fingers for the life of me. These tools are an absolute life-saver since they make the entire process so much easier as I no longer have to stick my large hand into my mouth to stick a rubberband that might pop out due to it not being fully wrapped around the bracket.

These are easy to use and carry around without too much trouble in case a band pops off braces during the day. I especially like that my kid doesn't have to shove his whole hand in his mouth to reconnect the bands since there are so many not fun germs floating around out there at school.

Ordered these for my daughter. The quality is good for what they are, but she said it made 10x harder to put her bands in and she won’t use them. She has tried 100x and she can’t get the bands on with them, so she just uses her fingers.

My son has braces on his teeth, and was required to use bands, which he hates, and he wasn't wearing them as prescribed because the ONE rubber band placer that was supplied by his orthodontist broke; and since he hates wearing the bands he never mentioned it. After days and weeks of yelling, he finally told me that the hook was broke and he couldn't get his bands on, so off to Amazon I went. I found these and they work perfectly, they came in a nice plastic box, very organized and easy to use. Now if I could just find something on Amazon that would make him use them, my day would have been complete. The hooks work as they are supposed to and he usually uses one several times before disposing of it so they will last a little longer, since he isn't using it one day and then throwing it away. The plastic box does close and keeps them securely in place, so he could take them to school and replace the band after lunch, but he's 15 and I cannot hardly get him to use them in the morning, let alone replace them when I'm not around.
