I purchased these after fracturing my fifth metatarsal and needing support during recovery—especially when I wasn’t wearing my walking boot, like around the house for short movements. These compression sleeves have worked extremely well. I wear a women’s US size 9.5–10 shoe, and I went with the XXL. When my foot isn’t swollen, they fit perfectly—snug but not too tight. But when swelling flares up, I’m especially glad I chose the XXL. If swelling wasn’t an issue, I could probably wear an XL. They provide great support and stability without feeling restrictive. They help with pressure, swelling, and arch support, and I’ve noticed reduced discomfort during and after wear. The sleeves are well made, easy to slip on, and hold their shape nicely over time. After receiving my first pair, I ended up buying a second pair about a month later, since my recovery period is about three months long. Having two allows me to rotate them out and always have a clean pair ready. I also plan to continue wearing them after I'm released from the walking boot and transition into a firm tennis shoe for extra support. If you’re recovering from a foot injury—especially one like a metatarsal fracture—and need added stability and relief, I highly recommend these. ***A few months later and I am back walking with Hoka tennis shoes. The compression sleeve is still helping because I do 9K+ steps a day and my foot that was broken swells up a lot. The only problem I am noticing is that as time goes on and I hand wash and air dry these, the end piece near my toes curls and rides up. I wont knock a star off, because I have gotten good use out of them but there seems to be an expiration date, so to speak so I may need to discard these and buy new ones. Overall, still very helpful.

Size chart is not applicable for slender feet. By the measurements I needed an XXL - I have high insteps, arches and long narrow paws!! Size 11 AAA shoes. The sleeve isn't as tight as my socks 😭 and I'm seeing no return option now which I'm quite sure I read was available in the original description. So - if you don't have wide feet I suggest you order a size down or find a different product.

Comfortable support. I had a previous Achilles tendon transfer then sprained that ankle and needed support. This was perfect. It provided enough compression to keep swelling down too. I wear a women's 10.5 or 11. XXL worked well.

Very tight and small for a large

I'm a size 11M in women's. I mistakenly ordered the XL as I usually do for longer socks. My mistake, as they were too large for my narrow feet. I returned them, and exchanged for the L instead. These were perfect!! Don't make my mistake. You don't need to take into account your total feet length, only your ankle area. I love them!
