This harness is exactly what I was looking for. I really needed something that was very simple that my 10yr old could easily get on the puppy if needed, or anyone else when im not home and this is so simple with just a Velcro closure & 1 buckle! It's very easy to tell which way it goes in and I can say from experience it's simple enough to get on a squirming puppy! No over the head, under the belly, around these legs only to figure out it's on backwards etc! Super easy! It's really soft, not bulky, and seems breathable enough for summer! I absolutely love the baby blue color with black trim, the little reflective stripes on the upper chest are nice touch. I like that the only buckle is on the back on top of the Velcro so he is not lying on a buckle and there's no pinching him when buckling him up! The double D-rings make it nice & secure on top of the 2 closures! So I have a mini-schnauzer mixed breed 6 month rescue puppy who is just about 15lbs but very stocky...he measures about 18.5in at the widest point of his chest, just behind his front legs & the VERY bottom of his neck/top of chest (below where a collar would sit) measures about 15in...since he was over 18in I first got the large, which is slightly big on him to where I had to really try to overlap the Velcro as far as I could and he has room to grow, which I thought would be good; however, because he is so young (& very new to our family we are still working on leash commands so when he is in stubborn puppy mode, trying to back out, it almost gave me a heart-attack because I could see it very easily starting to slip over his neck! So I ordered the medium and it fits JUST PERFECT. It is definitely SNUG but for safety it HAS TO BE! It is stretchy/comfy enough that I can fit 2 fingers around all edges so it's not TOO tight to be uncomfortable but there is VERY LITTLE room to grow. So unfortunately he is a pup who will probably end up going up a size but chancing it with a too-loose harness is not worth it to me so i will keep him in the medium, hang on to the large for couple weeks and if he doesn't grow out of the medium within the allowed return period ill just send the large back for a refund (and possibly order the larger size at a later date) but I don't know how much more he will grow and how quickly since he is a smaller breed. With Amazon's convenient returns and the price of this harness it's fine, I'd rather be safe than sorry! So use your best judgement with measuring, if u have a dog that is a safety concern, room to grow is NOT the best option but if u have a mellow dog that follows commands already 100% a little room may be ok for u! But in general, u want it snug, so I will say the measurements for sizing recommendations they provide are accurate! Only thing I will say is I do wish the buckle laid more flat on the back but it's a small "negative" in the scheme of the overall product. It is great quality and excellent price. For anyone complaining about how small they are for their larger dogs: it specifically says for toy/small breed dogs ONLY so that is not a valid complaint. The XL would b for the largest of small breeds or super small medium breeds possibly but that's it. So make sure u measure!

This is the best dog harness my dog and I have had the pleasure of wearing and using. He is very comfortable wearing it, even on long trips being buckled in his car seat. I love how easy it is to get on him, and it velcros on the top of his back without catching any of his long hair. The buckle secures it and provides space underneath to grab the harness when needed. It also has room to add an Apple AirTag name tag in case this little rascal dashes off.

Love these harnesses and just keep going up in size as my dog grows. They are easy to put on and he does not mind these at all I think they hold up extremely well, my only advise would be to size up, they run a little small.

Have been trying to find a harness for my 15lb Shichon that won't put pressure on his trachea because he has tracheal collapse. I tried this harness and it fits him well and he seems to be comfortable in it. I like that it has velcro under the clasps making it easier to not catch his hair in the buckles. I have had it for a few months and today was trying to train him to "heel" more. Unfortunately, that more pulling than usual for him and it took him a long time to recover from his tracheal collapse, and I ended up carrying him home. This sits too high on his neck instead of being low enough to avoid the neck. If it was just designed to have more of a low scoop around the front, it would hit better on the chest instead of the neck. If you have a small dog with this condition, think twice. In the pictures you can see where his collar is in relation to where the harness is hitting him. It is too high on him. When I run my finger down the front of the harness, I have an inch or more where his neck actually ends and his chest begins. Otherwise, this is a good value for the money and durable.

Buying a harness for a small dog sounds like an easy task, but if you’ve tried to find one that actually fits, you know it’s not an easy thing to do. Most of the ones I’ve found have been either too large, or made from something that will not conform to my dog’s body without having large gaps or be too tight. I’d almost given up trying to find one that fit my dog comfortably and wasn’t something with multiple strap and buckles that I could never unjust correctly. When I found this harness, specifically designed for a small dog, without all of the straps and buckles, and had a step in construction without multiple straps, I decided to give it a try. The first time I put it on my miniature schnauzer, it was a perfect fit. The Velcro closure made it easy to get just the right fit, and the one buckle keeps it a very secured. Attach your leash to the double d-rings and you’re ready to go. Removing the harness takes only seconds. Unhook your leash, unsnap the secure buckle and pull the Velcro material apart and your dog is out of the harness. I like this particular harness so much, I’ve bought two of them, and they are so reasonably priced, I might get another. It’s the perfect harness for your small dog, and I has my recommendation

What do you buy a dog that has everything…?? Well , this stylish sports bra / harness for dogs. It looks like a sports bra so, your dog is always looking gym ready. Give it a towel and water bottle and voila he’s sorted. But it doubles as a harness. The harnesss aspect was why I got it. I was worried tethering my K9 royalty to a dog collar could cause neck problems and also trachea issues. So I ordered this in royal black … shows no mess and you wash it when it looks dirty, ie, never. Bonus is it looks like a sports bra. It’s light and very easy for the dog to get into and out of, no drama llama. Would I buy again? Sure. It’s a great item and lightweight. So in the summer the Royal pooch doesn’t overheat and sit there heavy breathing over a water bowl. Panting like it’s run a marathon to front door. Super comfortable and the pooch loves it !!! Recommended A+

This wasn’t sized correctly. I’d ordered the S as I’d had other Voyager harnesses the small size. It arrived, is pretty but doesn’t go around her despite being labelled S. I believe it’s a XS. Amazon issued a refund but it’s a shame and a waste as I don’t know anyone with a chihuahua.
