Wonderful product
In reading the reviews I noticed that there were various complaints about details of the product. While these might have been valid for the individual purchaser, I found the cabinet great in many ways. For instance, some people were dissatisfied with the sturdiness of the cabinet, stating that it was made of “thin” material almost like “Styrofoam,” but it’s a good ¼” thick plastic and solid. It’s not meant to hold bricks; it’s meant to hold bathroom tissue and cleaning supplies. It does so quite well. If I were to have a complaint, it’s that it could have been a little deeper. I’d like to hide more of my cleaning supplies; they remind me that I do actually have to clean one of these days.My second complaint? The plastic picks up a static charge and will shortly be black with cat fur which is copiously manufactured and distributed by my two cats. We may go commercial. I’m never allowed to leave my apartment without a fur coat—PETA people, the animals are not “harvested;” they’re concerned for my welfare. (PS. I’ve given up wearing anything white!) For some strange reason I chose the white cabinet with a bamboo door. Silly me. If you have black cats or dogs, take it from me and go with the black cabinet.I noticed, too, that people who were dissatisfied often wrote of the “poor instructions.” Having struggled with more than my fair share of “assembly required” products, I can guarantee these are really, really, really good. These even pointed out that there is an actual left panel, and it’s different from the right panel. I know, you think it’s self-evident, but it can be very confusing. The differences are subtle and both panels have obverse and reverse sides that can make it so. I know because I’ve assembled, unassembled, and reassembled a lot of stuff in my day! Whomever wrote these must know me personally. Whoever you are, thank you! Some felt the product was difficult to assemble. Really? I’d like to meet the genius who designed this thing. It is fitted together with tabs that lock into place. If you can do Legos, you can handle this. These are actually part of the structural design of each panel. I didn’t need to be an octopus to hold everything up and together while I used my feet to plant the screws! A first! Once the tabs are into their designated spaces, the cabinet is completely “together.” Further stability and permanence arises from the placement of six screws. How easy is that? Even I can do that. It took me 20 minutes to complete—and that with several moments of chatting with a friend who told me book club was canceled.Supplies are often a problem with other products, but this company is OCD; there are extras of all small pieces. Even I couldn’t lose all of them, and I can forget where I put something is seconds. It also comes with a small Philips screwdriver. It’s definitely designed for the assembly-disabled!Here’s the kicker, I’m a 77 year old female. Back in my day boys were taught “shop” and girls were taught “home ec.” If I can do this, you can!

Perfect! IGNORE the bad reviews. Read this & see video.
The media could not be loaded. Pros and cons at the end.I have an old house, normal things don’t fit right so we needed something small for the available space. This little unit is perfect! I read the reviews and noticed the bad reviews mostly complained about the materials and the assembly. I bought it anyway. The listing says it’s wood, and it is, But, it is a pre-fabricated “wood product”, very lightweight and pre-painted. Expect that. The assembly was like putting together a 3-D puzzle. The screws go in easily and the tool is included. You will have no problem with this (so if you do, shame on you!) The panels fit together easily, tightly, and the door operates smoothly. The instructions are clear. You can kinda see the panel lines, so what? No, It does not look like a high-class piece of furniture (up close) but it looks good in the room, it will serve its purpose, it’s better than a single roll stand, has storage, and it was VERY easy to put together. It took me all of 20 minutes, if that. Plus, the price is right! So, If you can’t put together something this easy, or if you just don’t like it - return it and start wiping your butt with dollar bills instead.PROS:-Perfect size, about the same as a stand alone paper stand.-Generous roll rod compartment, suitable for jumbo rolls.-The paper storage (vented door) will hide 2 jumbo rolls nicely.-2 shelves for wipes, feminine products, (or to hold your phone).- Super EASY assembly.- Wipeable surface is easy to clean.CON:- I wish they had included little white dot stickers to cover the screw heads.Idea - the whole thing can easily be spray painted or contact papered to match your decor.Idea - I might put little claw feet on it just to make it that much cuter. (Any excuse to go to Hobby Lobby)

Need to rig the toilet paper to roll.
I love this item. It looks great in my room. But I had to do some fancy rigging to allow the toilet paper to roll properly, otherwise you would only get one sheet at a time and then you’d have to open the box to go back in and make it come out the hole. But my rigging works see pictures. It needs to be dusted often as the toilet paper dust shows up very well against the black color. I have to use tape to clean the edges as they are kind of rough and wiping them with anything just adds more lint. I also had to put a weight in the bottom otherwise it would tip over when you’re pulling the toilet paper out.

Cute but fragile.
I'm not sure what material this is, its not any kind of wood, sort of reminds me of those foam puzzle workshop floor mats, its like really thick foamcore board or something. Anyway. Its pretty fragile and I totally broke one of the legs when trying to fit the insert into the hole to hold it together. So far that I'm taking off a star. Also, the finish is a matte black but it sort of smudges easily. So, I spray painted the entire thing gloss black which gives it a less smudgy appearance. All that being said, it fit perfectly where i wanted it, so I'm still mostly happy with it. You get what you pay for so don't expect it to be super strong or durable. I think if I treat it gently it will hold up okay. The assembly is easy, took me less than 10 minutes and they give you extra parts which is nice, but be very careful if the inserts don't fit exactly into the holes as if you try to force it too much you will break it.
