Perfect solution for HDMI karaoke!
I came across this after hours of searching for an HDMI mixer with mic input (to no avail). My setup is simple and I didn’t want to change it: AppleTV to Soundbar to Projector via HDMI I bought and inserted this mixer into things and everything worked flawlessly: AppleTV to This Mixer to Soundbar to Projector via HDMI I expected to have to do some tweaks to audio delay, but nothing required. Truly plug and play. The mixer is not amazing but does its job - receiving wireless signal from mics and giving volume control of each mic, in addition to echo / reverb (a little always helps in karaoke) and tone (turn left for more bass, less treble/right for more treble, less bass). The mics are better quality than I expected. They’re not Shure, of course. But I’ve been to friends’ houses with karaoke machines with awful mics and these mics are closer to Shure quality than cheap karaoke system mics. These mics have a sturdy feel and decent sound. All in all, great solution to add karaoke to an existing tv and sound system! Note: I noticed low ratings seem to all complain about Bluetooth. Perhaps a consideration for some. Note 2: I will update this post if my positive experience changes. Note 3: for karaoke songs, I use Karafun (played on iPad and mirrored to alert AppleTV). High quality songs, consistent UI, and ability to control key and volume of lead and backup vocals. Highly recommend. In the rare instance they don’t have what I’m looking for, I search for the song name + karaoke on YouTube and that always works (but no key or volume control of vocals).

Works great for smart TV and soundbar setup.
I am not an AV enthusiast or a musician. I just really missed going to noraebangs (private karaoke rooms). I have an LG tv and an LG soundbar with only digital inputs and outputs. I would read different reviews of other mixers and speaker setups. People seem to have an issue between the digital signal of modern tvs and soundbars and the analog signals of microphones. I was considering buying separate analog speakers or converters for digital signals. None of that was neccesary with this mixer! HDMI arc from TV to mixer, TOS from mixer to soundbar. It works great! For your living room I think this is a perfect setup. I dont have to unplug anything, reconfigure settings, or physically move stuff around. I leave the mixer plugged in and it does not interfere with anything! I watch TV when I watch TV. When I want to do karaoke, I cast youtube from my phone and turn on the microphones. Thats all I have to do. The microphones are plastic and you do have to sing "into" them to pick up your voice. So long as you dont drop them, I think they should be fine. For the money and for singing drunkenly with friends in my living room, they are more than fine. They instantly pair up to the mixer, no issues there. I know that having higher quality microphones, a better mixer with FX, and PA speakers would produce a better sound. For $120 though, I use my existing audio setup, dont have to manipulate anything, just put the microphones in a drawer and my phone back in my pocket when i am done. There is no detectable audio delays with the microphones. For the money and ease of setup, this is a 5 star item. If you have a smart TV, a soundbar, and a desire to sing with friends, I highly recommend this item.

Great value for the money
Sound quality is beyond my expectations. Wireless microphone is working good from the distance without breaking. Reverb quality is almost similar to the one that average karaoke studios have. It is fun to sing songs with it. Optical, HDMI, and Audio Jack are option for output. And HDMI and audio jack for input. You can take it to any places due to its small size with a sturdy metal boxing. Couple of things I want it to have are 1. rechargeable battery for the microphone. You need two AA size batteries to operate one mic but they don’t last that long. I wish I could charge the microphone while the device is not in use. 2. a travel case for storing the device and microphones Other than that I am satisfied with the product. I don’t need to go Karaoke studio to sing! Or I can practice at home to sing my favorite songs more confidently at studio before my friends. Thing is my whole family spend more time together. Also I am very happy to see my teenager daughters enjoy their time with singing. Better than looking at their phones all the time.

Today I received the aviation microphone as advertised. The microphone produces feedback and is unusable for singing. The cable is too loose and doesn't connect properly. I'm very disappointed.

UHF Wireless Microphone Mixer (HDMI-Optical Connection)
Been looking around the market for something that is simple and easy to hook up the Smart TV and the Yamaha 5.1 Sound simple using a single HDMI (eARC) & Optical Sound. Found what I was looking for and hooking it up took me less than ten minutes. To start off, it did took me a while to figure out how to hook it up to the Yamaha because there were not instructions about connecting it to an amplifier, but after everything was hooked up and no sound came through...I was a bit concerned. However, after going through the setting on the Smart TV and setting it to PCM, I heard sounds coming through and tested everything out. It is basically "Plug 'N' Play" sort of deal. Should have taken me less that five minutes to get everything working properly. As for the wireless microphone, the main body are constructed of matte plastic and the metal mesh over the main microphone is a big plus. After throwing in some Duracell for added weight, it really does have a nice feel in the hands. Also, turning them microphone on simply connected to the mixer right away with just an adjustment of channels and you're set to sing. For the price, this cannot be beat, the sound that came through the speakers were clear for me, "subjective opinion," but I'll play around with it some more to keep the echoing at a minimal. Overall, this is one of the easiest setups that I've every got a chance to fiddle with, and I'm a pretty technical person.
