Basket is 5" diameter and 1 7/16" deep which is just about the perfect size for home use.

Different item shipped & will rust
The seller shipped a different item that the one showing in the picture (solid mesh instead of a wire mesh). I didn't care that much because it mostly does the job. But after only a couple of uses it rusted out. Like others call out, it's a junker and I can't tell why it gets 4+ stars?Scam - Beware
