Thick and warm

I bought this blanket for its promise to keep me warm but after taking it out of the box, getting warm became my last concern as this blanket smells awful as if it has been soaked in petrol for ages. However, paying more tha 50 dollars for it I decided to put it in the washing machine and wash it. After washing it for 5 times with powerful washing shampoo in the washing machine (after soaking for 12 hours) I couldn't believe that the smell was still there (although weaker). After giving up I decided to throw it in the garbage (which is the proper place of this product). I didn't check for its warming effect as the smell was more deterring than anything else. If you cannot tolerate the strong smell of petrol, stay away of this product

●購入色： レッド・バッファロー ２枚（他店） ホワイト/ブルーグレー ２枚（Amazon） ------------------------------------------- レッド・バッファローは直輸入購入なんですが こちらもすごく染め、品質は良かったです。 海外のネットで評判を見て直輸入で購入しました。 実家は外国の方々が沢山出入りするような そんな家庭環境だった経緯もあり 慣れ親しんだアメリカン・ブランケット製品が 入手出来て本当に良かったです！ ------------------------------------------ 【製品の特徴】 Ａｍａｚｏｎや他の通販等で見かけるような 毛布の延長線のような製品では全くございません。 「これぞブランケット」といった製品です。 厚みがある訳でもないのに目が詰まっている為に 少しずっしりしているそんなブランケットです。 正直、この手の製品は日本では馴染みがないのと 見かけてももっと厚みがゴツくなって 「ラグ」というジャンルになるかと思います。 また日本家屋では靴のまま屋内を歩きませんので 「ラグ」でもなく「毛布」でもないといった そんなブランケット製品はあまり必要でもないため なかなか見かける事すら無いのが実情です。 さて製品に話は戻します。。。 まず染めや色合いが素晴らしいです。 また目の詰まり具合も素晴らしいです。 目が詰まっている為、柔らかさは毛布に劣ります。 起毛もしていません。 大きさは毛布程度ですので身体を包む事も可能だし ベッドスプレッドに利用するのも良いです。 ソファカバーとしても十分に使えると思います。 ラグとしての使い方も勿論可能です。 アウトドアなどの屋外利用でも使えるでしょう。 テント内の敷物にしたり そのまま地面に敷いてピクニックもいいですね！ アイデア次第で十分に使える製品と言い切れます！ 私がオススメする使い方は やはりベットスプレッドとして利用ですかね。 昔ながらのブランケットをお探しの方には 十分にオススメ出来る製品だと言い切れます！ 結局のところ、Ａｍａｚｏｎでも ホワイト/ブルーグレーを２枚購入しました。 日本人の保守的な色合いではないですねー 掲載写真通りで良い意味で日本にない青色です！ グレー部分もいわゆるライトグレーと いわゆるチャコールグレーなんですが こちらも日本の落ち着いたグレー系というより もっと映える印象で異国っぽいグレーです。 ホワイト部分はホワイトではなくベージュ系です。 とりあえずカラーコーデがなかなかの好印象です！ レッド・バッファロー、ホワイト/ブルーグレー どちらのブランケットもアウトドアや ピクニックでの利用も強く意識していましたので これならそうそう被らないと感じるだけに 購入した甲斐があったと納得しています！
