Very easy set up
Already had Peplink Balance router since we do use two internet providers, one of which is 100M. Finally splurged on the WAP. Seamless integration between WAP and router. Very easy set up. Very good range on the 5G side so we get the higher speed through the house. Router admin covers both router and AP which is very convenient.

Very convenient for use with Peplink routers
I bought three of these to use along with a Peplink Balance One router. The wireless range does not appear to be quite as good as an Apple Airport Extreme, which it turns out has higher transmit power. It also doesn't appear to be as good as recent consumer grade WiFi routers from ASUS. As far as I can tell, these APs do not employ beamforming which may negatively affect comparisons. That said, integration with the Balance One web UI is very convenient. All of the wireless client reporting and AP management in one place instead of logging in to multiple devices to manage them. Setup is almost plug-and-play.One of these along with the Balance One would have been sufficient to cover my approximately 3000 sq. foot house with 2.4 GHz. I ended up adding a total of 3 APs around the perimeter of the house where I had ethernet available with the Balance One in the center. This is arguably overkill, but I wanted to ensure 5GHz, which doesn't penetrate walls very well, was available in key rooms. Also, I wanted to ensure solid coverage outdoors and there were a few dead spots without the third AP.On the whole, I'd recommend these only if you're using a Peplink router for the integration. Otherwise, there are solid less expensive choices like the Apple and ASUS routers in AP mode that seem to have better wireless performance.

Looks cool but didn't work
I simply could not get it to connect to the Internet after an hour of trial and error.

I have 2 of these and love them
Fantastic access points with seamless device handoff. Works best with a Peplink router. Highly recommended.

Good home router in combination with my Peplink hard wired router
I use this wireless router with a Peplink Balance One Core router which itself does not have wifi. In combination, these comprise a powerful and very configurable home network. Good quality and strong technical support -- which is increasingly rare these days. So far, I am well satisfied.

Works Great, Decent Range
The key thing, I'll note upfront is that using this AS A PART OF a complete PepLink system is what you want to do. You want to allow the PepLink router to manage this and other PepLink branded wifi nodes. You WANT to back haul (wire them back) to the router (yes it can do mesh, but your speeds will not be the same)That said upfront, this is a Wifi Node, on it's own it's just that. The real power lies within the complete eco-system of peplink. Believe me, I've used both EERO and other "mesh" all in one brands, they ALL have there drawbacks and all have some advantages. But honest to go truth here, if you want to check off "the most" boxes, with a setup that meets "most" all requirements, peplink and there product's is your go to. Upfront, they do not have some fancy "app" on your phone to do it all (IE> Eero) this is both good and bad, bad for those who want an app, GOOD for those who have dealt with EERO's going offline and the app not able to reach home, leaving you stuck. So by all means, there are plenty of reviews out there, lots of tech info, lots of specs. I'll boil this down, this wifi node, along with a peplink router will do you good. Plan your system out, take into account distance's and place nodes where needed and you'll have a great result.
