Cocktail Kingdom® Koriko® Hawthorne Strainer

This is really the only Hawthorne Strainer I use, and it's been that way for the 8-9 years. My most recent purchase was for the staff at my newest bar, and I always get positive comments from bartenders that haven't used them before. There are heavier than the cheaper styles so they don't bend or break, and the spring stay on when washing and drying, which is a big pet peeve for other strainers. They are super easy to clean, whether handwashing or using a dishwasher. The spring is a thicker coil so it stays in place, and also strains much more effectively than smaller, looser springs. It does remove easily if you're actually wanting to remove it for cleaning or to use the spring for dry-shaking. Definitely recommend!

This has nice tight but removable spring which makes cleaning super easy. Got a set of Koriko weighted shaker tins along with the Hawthorne strainer and am likewise impressed with fit and function. I anticipate not needing to ever replace this hardware. Love it.

I have several Hawthorne strainers, including the Oxo and A Bar Above. It’s a tough call between this one and the A Bar Above one, but both are far better than the Oxo in terms of size, spring, and effectiveness. I find myself reaching for this one the most.

This Hawthorne strainer is the best one i have ever used or seen. it is nice and heavy weight, strains very effectively, easy to use, and easy to clean up.

Perfect for the bartender willing to invest. Very well made & sturdy; if you’re slanging drinks on the daily this can definitely take the wear and tear of high volume bars. Coil is nice and tight and will filter out ice and large items. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to upgrade their toolset.

Truly a fantastic hawthorn. What sets this apart from the rest is the "tightness" of the coils which do a great job at preventing even small bits of ice from ending up in your cocktail.
