Didn't work for what was needed.
I bought these a very long time ago, and I honestly forgot about them. That's just due to the fact they DID NOT work for what I needed them to. Quality wasn't the best and didn't fit with my computer like I needed it to. Not very good compatibility in my opinion so it was a waste of money for me. I will say, however, that I really only got them because my computer at the time needed headphone connection/etc. I would plug this in, and then plug my headphones into the chunky side. It fits and all, just doesn't work for what I needed.

Didn't work for what I was trying to do
Tried to use this to attach to a thumb USB loaded with MP3's to connect to care CD player, but would not work. Maybe this is not designed to do that. Could be user error.

Works?
So I tried using this with my gaming microphone connected into the AUX port of an external audio mixer. It did not work. That is because the microphone is powered by usb so there's no way for it to get through on a mixer. HOWEVER, I will say that with the other microphone i used, it did work and did a decent job. I didn't seem to have any audio issues other than with the software I was using specifically. It's getting a 3 star because it does not work how I intended it to. But it does it's job when used properly, so I would recommend it. Especially for the price lol, that's $2.50 a piece, good price.

Not For Car Audio Jacks.
Perhaps I’m misunderstanding the purpose of this product, but I bought it to plug into the aux port on my car so I could plug in my phone cable and play music. The aux port has been tested on my roommates phone and works fine, so I know that isn’t the issue. When I plugged this in and hooked up my phone it did absolutely nothing. Completely useless.
