Inspired by mid-century Scandinavian wood craft, this is an original design blending modern and rustic styling. Each cat is hand-crafted in our home workshop from a block of pine and given a walnut stain that brings out the unique characteristics in each individual piece of wood. Several coats of varnish are hand-applied to protect the piece and give it a warm shine. Each piece measures roughly: 8.5" H x 3" W x 1.5" D ** As with any wood product, you will notice slight variations between each piece and what has been photographed. This might include differences in grain and small imperfections in the wood. We think this is part of the beauty of working with natural materials and adds to the uniqueness of the piece.
