Smells great, cleans and is cruelty free? Say less!
This is my new favorite laundry detergent. I use two capfuls in a giant load and everything comes out so clean. I also love the scent.

Best detergent ever!
I am *obsessed* with this detergent. 1) The smell??? Oh em gee. Intoxicating. It’s the epitome of fresh linen. No other detergent compares. 2) It’s non-toxic! Healthy for my family. I’ve noticed a decrease in allergies, illness, & skin issues since switching to this brand. 3) It cleans so well! Excellent at doing its job. I will note that I noticed an increase in product effectiveness when paired with a laundry booster. I use the Active brand enzyme laundry booster + borax + baking soda (all non toxic boosters to help your detergent work better), and WOW! An amazing quartet of products. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent product, good science, could be less wasteful
This worked very well for us (old top loading washer). I didn't put it through any scientific tests or need to deal with serious stains. It's easy to use, just pump once or twice, and it's fragrance-free (I think they sell scented versions as well). I like how committed to science and reality Puracy is, particularly how they stood up to the EWG and their binary neurotic approach to ingredients as mundane as borax, which is completely safe as a <1% ingredient in a laundry detergent. As long as you don't add Puracy to your cereal every morning for the rest of your life, you're good (and probably even if you do...) Seeing actual surfactants in Puracy's ingredients won me over compared to Molly's Laundry Powder, which has none. Molly's only has washing soda, baking soda, Epsom salt, and table salt. I don't know what dark magic Molly's has unlocked there, and it seemed fine when I tried it, but I had no stains to test it on, and I just couldn't get around the lack of surfactants/detergents, the potential long-term accrual of grease/skin oil on clothes due to Molly's not removing it, and any future stain drama where real detergent is needed. I also like that Puracy has enzymes, including lipase, which is less common. (Though I'm confused by stuff Puracy has said about the enzymes needing 15+ minutes to kick in – do they get that amount of time in a typical washing machine's wash cycle, before the rinsing starts? Seems like it's over by then, or almost.) My only complaint is that the pump bottle design wastes some of the product, since it will leave some on the bottom, un-pumpable. I like to flip bottles near their end-of-life to get all the product out. It's not a huge thing, and I guess it's less of a problem if you buy refill jugs and keep refilling – I assume they sell refills.

Doesn't Irritate Sensitive Skin for Adults and Children (Update: packaging issues with pump and leaky bottles)
My child and husband have sensitive skin so I try to buy detergents that aren't loaded with too many chemicals or fragrances. This is the second bottle I've purchased. It seems to clean pretty well in our Bosch front loader. Our clothes came out clean and did not smell of any fragrances. The only stain it could not remove were my toddler's poop stained onesies that were prewashed by hand. The only other thing I did not like was the pump dispenser. It worked for the first few pumps but stopped working. I had an empty California Baby Body Wash pump dispenser so I transferred the liquid detergent to that bottle and threw out the Puracy bottle. I haven't used the second bottle yet but I'm hoping the first bottle was just a random defect. I've been reading that some of the Free & Clear detergents from the big brands still contain a lot of harmful chemicals. Overall, I like this detergent because it doesn't seem to irritate my husband and child's skin and cleans well. UPDATE (4/4/16): The company contacted me about the pump dispense and promptly sent me a new pump which was greatly appreciated. With the second bottle, the pump seemed fine except I constantly found detergent all over top of the dryer where I keep the bottle. I chalked it up to other members of my household possible knocking over the bottle but it did seem odd. I recently bought a 3rd bottle and low and behold, I find the bottle sitting in a small puddle of liquid detergent again after only a week. I thought either it's dripping from the pump nozzle or from the bottom of the bottle. This time, I was pretty certain no one had knocked it over as it's only been a week since I used the detergent and I've been keeping an eye to make sure it hasn't been knocked over or moved. It's kept high out of reach of little ones. I wrapped the bottom of the bottle with saran wrap. After a couple of hours, I picked up the bottle and noticed detergent coming up from the top of the saran wrap which indictated to me that it must be a slow leak coming from the bottom of the bottle. At this point, I need to find an empty bottle to transfer the laundry detergent to because I can't keep dealing with small puddles of liquid detergent. After I'm done with this bottle, I am going to consider trying something else. I like the product but I've had too many issues with the packaging.

I really like this detergent! It just takes a bit - not full of water like other brands, there's no scents and perfumes, and most importantly it cleans really, really well. I'm in a choir and we had a red table cloth that was all stained from the previous event - it came out SO clean. Clothes feels ultra clean and fresh. This is the only brand I'm going to use from now on.

Such a great detergent! Perfume free; deep cleans my work clothing and all pet hairs and body oils. Would recommend. Lasted as many loads as it lists

Actually kept track of how many and even if I doubled how many I did it didn’t even reach 80 loads. Misleading it works great but is pretty pricey for maybe 50-60 loads altogether. And yes I have a new he washer that uses less soap but I wouldn’t know how it works with just one tiny squirt. Which it would have to be to make 192 loads

This Puracy works very well. I recommend buying the stain remover also, cit works well for those stubborn stains. If this matters to you they donate to charity from the sales of their soap products. 👍

I was actually recommended this product by CoPilot (the Microsoft AI) after asking it, "What is the best industrial strength detergent that I can buy for bedclothes?" Puracy was top of the list! I was a bit skeptical having tried quite a few detergents (Amway S8 powder and a few others) and wondering if this would be good enough for my needs. I was trying to find a great detergent for my bedclothes and pillowcase to clean away the body oils, especially from the pillowcase (as I am bald). After following directions I put 4 squirts into the washing machine with a full load in a regular front loader and waited to see how everything would come out. After the first wash I did a second wash but without any detergent whatsoever. After everything was put into the dryer I was very pleasantly surprised when taking everything out that everything had been cleaned very thoroughly. Spots on the fitted sheet that had been there before were now gone. The pillowcase was back to as good as new. One last thing - no scent!! Marvelous!!!!! All in all, well worth the money and a relief that I found something that has lived up to its promise and recommendation.
