I have a terribly overgrown garden and knew I could do with a chainsaw, but to be honest they scare me a bit. So I thought this would be a decent compromise. Turns out it's no compromise at all - absolutely brilliant. Not only is it effective, it's fun. A great way to chop up trees, and very therapeutic. Love it.

As a middle aged, out of shape woman, I was hesitant to get this to get rid of some saplings, but knew it would be cheaper to do it myself than pay the lawn guy. If I only use this three times, it will have paid for itself. Not hard to use, felt safe using it. It is mere seconds to go through a good sized sapling. Great tool. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing tool and it works great. I have a cherry tree and I was dreading the pruning of it. This tool made it very easy as I climbed the tree and pruned branches right and left without loosing my balance. The jaw and handle help to press from both sides so it's a perfect balance cut. The saw cut branches up to 4 inches with no issue. I have a pile of limbs from clearing some property that I was going to take to recycling and now can't wait to go through them and cut them up to fire wood size with this tool. The tool is not very noisy and fairly light weight, much lighter than my 16" electric chainsaw. As other reviewers have pointed out the only thing that can be improved on this thing is the oiling. Per the instructions you have to put in six drops of oil in the little reservoir provided every 10 minutes of use. The reservoir has a cap and you have to stick the end of the oil bottle provided and squeeze. The oil bottle that comes with this is very stiff so I can't be sure I'm actually putting in oil or not and there is no way to tell if the oil reservoir is full or empty. I put a couple of drops of oil straight on the chain track for good measure. Otherwise this is a fantastic tool for pruning and cutting up limbs and very reasonably priced.

This device operates with a pair of jaws and inside the jaws Is the chainsaw. I am cutting cutting a lot of brush and straw and small trees. This is an extremely safe product. Just open the jaws, place them around up to a 7 inch log or branch. And proceed to close them like scissors. And the chainsaw operates. Just fantastic.... You can easily take off the branches off. The tree and cut branches up into pieces. I would give this a ten out of ten highly highly highly recommended.
