Work's great. Purchased these ages ago and still using them. The blades are extremely sharp and leaves a nice smooth shave. The amount you get will last about a 1+ years

For both shaving and environmental reasons, I decided to make the move to a traditional safety razor and few come more traditional than the Merkur 42C.I did my research on both the razor and the blades and both have a long history.The Feather blades are well renowned and even though they are sharp, I find myself getting a close shave without cuts even as a beginner to the whole safety razor experience.I am fortunate in that the local council of the next county to mine will recycle these blades if you put them into a steel can modified with a tiny slot to put the blades into.This makes it much more environmentally friendly than other shaving options.Recommended!
