Q: I don't see the 110ac version offered. can the receiver really convert 24dc to 110ac?

Yes, I ordered the SD-500. I've installed it with the standard 120vac and it works great. It's a nice package and seems to be a good piece of equipment.

Q: How do you set the limiter to stop on open and close at certain set points ?

As usual,once you press open or close,the chain will run to the end,can not stop midway.

Q: Does this come with a 24vdc power supply? If not, what are specs? Can the power supply be located away from the opener motor?

It comes with a transformer which convert input voltage AC110V/220V to working voltage 24Vdc, you can extend wires of transformer if want it to be located away from the window opener.

Q: What type of electrical box is the controller to be mounted on?

You really need to check what the electric code is in your area. I was able to use a standard 4in, deep, square j-box and make and adapter under the controller. I also installed a shut-off switch in the box to turn off the power to service the system. A cover will also have to be cut from a blank to make it safe and pleasing to the eye. I hope that helps.
