This is a great resource for teaching writing in middle school. I'm new to the position and trying to find my groove. Having this book has helped immensely to show my students what good, quality writing looks like.

Purchased as a gift for a teacher who requested this particular book to aide her in her classroom with the level at which she teaches.

This is just a list of possible texts to use with your lessons. There are no reproducibles nor any excerpts. Waste of paper and money.

Any grade school teacher will sing this resource's praises. Great ideas and excellent picture book and story book suggestions to enhance the traits of writing. I would highly recommend this to be on each elementary school teacher's wish list.
