I have a hammock like this that I bought over 20 years ago in Mexico, and it has not broken yet. This product is not nearly as sturdy, multiple stands have broken. It is beautiful and comfortable, but not durable. Consider all nylon or something that doesn't break as easily.

I consider myself a seasoned hammocker (I planted two palm trees in my yard for this very purpose) and this one is the cutest and comfiest HANDS DOWN. The weaving is gorgeous, the colors/patterns are super fun, and it's strong enough to support me, my husband, and our toddler without any sign of stress. Plus I *love* that it's ethically made. This would make for an awesome gift.

It was comfortable. Unfortunately within two weeks, one of our two dogs shredded it with no problem. Not the problem of the maker. Just be advised if you have a dog, The dog will win easily.

I am so disappointed in this product. I really wanted to help women from third-world countries, so I paid the $200 for this hammock. I haven’t even had it for one month and it’s already fraying. I’m well below the weight requirement, so the only option is poor quality. Also, if you don’t like being “cocooned,” this is probably not the hammock for you. It’s a beautiful hammock, so it’s a real disappointment.

Thank you Yalana for creating the most relaxing hammock. I have it strung up between two trees and enjoy my afternoon relaxing in the shade. It is easy to get in and out. It only took 5 minutes to set it up. Thank you!
