Used these on my CASE 580SK backhoe for coolant and oil temperature. Both worked perfect for bringing may gauges back to life!

As some other buyers have indicated these sending units did not work for my Case 580 sk backhoe. I only installed one for water temperature and in about 15 minutes the gauge went to full hot. The transaxle oil temp gauge uses the same sending unit but I didn’t even bother to install it. I sent the unused unit back for credit and ate the cost of the used one. Total waste of time and money.

Good part .works well.this part works for engine temp and same sender works for transmission temp sender also on the Carrera built unit

I have ordered by part number, they arrived on time. The first one was installed same day. As soon as I started my 580 SL, the temp gauge went to full hot, a slow rise from bottom of gauge to the top. I figured it was defective so I sent it back and got another one. Same thing happened. I don’t think these are the correct range for the temperature gauge. Very frustrating. I would not recommend this product.

It will fit the manifold but the sending switch is calibrated for water temp of 172 not 189 to 194 so on my 580c it looks to be running hot all the time.
