These work great. But are difficult to empty
They definitely work, I used old cat food that my cats leave to bait these, because it gets really stinky fast. I put the food in a dog poo bag in the bait dish with just the top open so the smell lures them in but it doesn’t dry out. They aren’t easy to empty though as theres no other way than through the hole they get in.

Useless.
Utterly useless! I have 5 hung in our horses stable, baited with fruit as suggested & not a single fly caught in 2 weeks.

Butterfly trap :-(
These are definitely fit for purpose as they did catch some flies, however, I hadn't expect to catch so many moths and butterflies. It is really hard to empty as everything needs to fall out of the little hole. I managed to save a few butterflies and moths but had to cut it open. This is okay for indoors I think where you won't get many butterflies, although they are rather large. I had hoped to use these outdoors to catch flies in the chicken enclose to then put out for my chickens as a treat.

Works with the correct bait
You need to use a bait that attracts the flies you want to catch. Tried a few things, but the flies in our greenhouse (likely from the manure) liked a little mince beef. The problem is how to empty the thing. They are both now full of flies and no apparent way to get them out. I must be missing something, it says they are reusable.

Caught many flies
These are great, have it hung above the bin outside and works best with meat as the bait. Noticed fewer flies in the house during the summer when using one of these so I think it works really well. Bring in over the winter though as the netting is liable to perish during an English winter.

Fly/wasp trap that worked amazingly
I bought this fly trap to get rid of the annoying flies/wasps that were buzzing around my kitchen and living room. I was sceptical at first, but I decided to give it a try. I was amazed by how well it worked. The fly trap is very easy to use and effective. It has a bait that lures the flies in. The fly trap is odorless and safe for humans and pets. It can be hung or placed anywhere you want. The fly trap can catch hundreds of flies and lasts for months. I noticed a significant reduction in the number of flies in my house after using this fly trap. I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone who has a fly/wasp problem.

Doesn't catch flies or wasps
Managed to literally catch a fly and put it in there (using a glass) and the fly got out... so pretty pointless Later saw a wasp go in and get stuck for a while then chew its way out 2 stars as it may have been a particularly cleaver fly and i may have used the wrong lure (bit of bacon) the wasp did seem stuck for a bit at least
