This was the best purchase everI have Sectrum tv and the remote i got never was impressive, I never was able to program other devices (5 yrs). This new one worked with all equipment i have right out of the box. I should have replaced the remote several years ago.

Remotes make family harmony
When you get a new Spectrum remote and the stupid thing doesn't work with your box the stress in the living is worse then having a bear in the backyard. Unable to watch saved programs that used to be a breeze. GET THIS. Old reliable and easy to setup. Look the Fast Forward button works! YAY! No commercials! I bought a second one.

No Programming/ Instructions Included
I ordered this to replace my old remote (exact same model). Unlike when I've gotten a replacement remote at my local Spectrum store, this came with no programming info or instructions. I don't understand how product description says something to the effect that programing isn't needed. Luckily, I found an old instruction sheet & had to enter my TV brand specific code to get it working. I don't know about newer tvs, but it was necessary for mine.

Exactly what I needed

Exact replacement.
Although Spectrum will give you a free remote replacement upon request, their store business model makes you sign in and wait behind everyone else, usually 30 minutes to an hour. I didn't realize you could just buy these retail until someone told me; I thought they were proprietary equipment. Better to just spend a little money and have it delivered to my door, than drive across town and waste my time in a waiting room.
