Here's an informal mixed review of the Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle XL 271 Piece (50x26cm) – Owl Wooden Jigsaw for Adults: So, I recently got my hands on the Owl Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle because I’m a sucker for unique puzzles, and the whole “wooden” thing seemed cool. It’s 271 pieces, and the finished size is pretty decent at 50x26 cm. Here’s how it went: The Good: Beautiful Design: Let’s start with the obvious—the owl artwork is gorgeous! It has a lot of intricate details and vibrant colors, which makes it feel more like art than just a typical puzzle. Once it’s completed, it’s definitely frame-worthy. Quality Material: The wooden pieces feel nice and sturdy, unlike the flimsy cardboard ones you get in most puzzles. There’s something oddly satisfying about fitting them together, and they seem durable enough to last for a long time, even with multiple uses. Challenging: This isn’t a simple puzzle, and that’s a good thing if you’re looking for something more engaging. The unique shapes of the pieces (some are even shaped like tiny animals!) made it feel like a mental workout, which I enjoyed. The Not-So-Great: Piece Size: For an "XL" puzzle, the pieces are smaller than I expected. I figured they'd be big, but they're not much larger than your average puzzle piece, so it took a bit more time to handle them, especially when working on more detailed parts. Tricky to Solve: While the unique shapes are fun, they also make it harder than your typical jigsaw. It’s easy to get stuck in certain areas since the pieces don’t follow a predictable shape. If you’re expecting a relaxing, easy-going puzzle, you might get a little frustrated. Pricey: It’s definitely on the pricier side compared to regular puzzles. I get that it’s made of wood and has that premium feel, but if you’re just looking for a quick weekend puzzle, this might feel like a splurge. Bottom Line: If you love puzzles and want something that feels a bit more premium, this owl jigsaw is a solid choice. It’s challenging and looks stunning when completed, but it’s not the easiest puzzle to put together, and the price might make you think twice. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you’re really into puzzles and don’t mind putting in the extra effort!

I don't often write reviews, but was moved to do so after completing this wonderful jigsaw by The Puzzled Tree. Although only 300 pieces, I found this really quite challenging and very enjoyable - at least as difficult as a standard 500-piece jigsaw. The pieces are all sorts of weird and wonderful shapes, which is a nice change from the standard rectangular cardboard jigsaw pieces, and the mesmerising range of colours and designs on each piece makes this a very engrossing puzzle. Being a wooden puzzle, the pieces fit together very nicely, and I like that the 'ins and outs' of the pieces are different shapes, which adds to the challenge. I see that The Puzzled Tree also plant a tree through One Tree Planted for every jigsaw sold, which is a nice touch. So if you're a bit bored with standard jigsaws, I'd recommend giving one of these a try - you won't be disappointed.

I quite like a puzzle and the novelty factor of the peculiar shapes as well and the overall dragon theme made this one particularly enjoyable to do. Took maybe a couple of hours, but enjoy it fully. Very well packaged and made 💜

Overall, this is very entertaining. 1 star removed because it's far too easy to move pieces unexpectedly and have to re-assemble them. No pieces were missing, however, one piece came twice which caused confusion for quite some time :)

Lovely puzzle, kept me occupied for days. So many shapes and sizes. Definitely exercises the brain. Would recommend.

Bought as a gift, feedback that they love it's uniqueness and really enjoyed building it.

I purchased this for my 85 year old mother who thoroughly enjoyed it. Colours are stunning and design also. However. There is a piece missing, as per the photos and I have marked down the feedback purely on Amazon's typical robot response..... simply asked for a replacement, and was told to return original after sending the same photos and then to be told this would be at my own cost! It is However a beautiful puzzle just a shame 1 piece missing.

Great fun. Quite a difficult jigsaw but worth doing

Our favorite wooden puzzles!!! We have bought every one from this maker. Pieces are intricately made from wood and a challenge to assemble. Fun and Beauty!!!

Das Puzzle sieht sehr gut aus wenn es zusammen gebaut ist. Was es leider schwierig macht zusammen zu bauen ist, dass manche der Teile zu klein sind. Plus es fehlt ein großes Bild damit man eine Art Referenz hat wie es aussehen soll.

Good quality-challenging for a 300 piece puzzle. What a deal on the price..
