TLDR: Surprisingly high quality for such a low price. Don't bend and lose shape lifting heavy items. Look good in person. No sharp edges to easily scratch pans. Highly recommend. Pros: These really are sturdy. I've bought several other popular picks and they would bend easily. sometimes too easily to even pick up a large steak. These are solid. The satinesque finish looks as good in person as in the pictures and videos. Low price for what you're getting. Cons: The hinge uses a rivet. Only time will tell if the rivet is made of the same sturdy material or not. I prefer locking screws or something else that won't require a special tool to replace it. I don't like throwing things away that only need a 25 cent replacement part for many more years of use. But, I have a rivet tool so, kinda of a wash for me. Summary: I was very skeptical when I ordered these. I needn't have been. I am very happy with the strength and apparent durability of the material used, as well as it's aesthetics. I highly recommend this product for someone looking for inexpensive but not "cheap" tongs that are strong enough to effortlessly grab and flip 16 oz steaks.

I was going to return these, but gave them a try instead. I'm glad I did. They're great! High volume restaurant quality and super sturdy. I thought the 12 inch might be too big, but it has turned out to be my favorite. Perfect for everything, and washes easily!

Great kitchen tongs! Well made. The box had two different sized tongs so it was a good value. The tongs feel substantial so they should last a long time. The grip is good and they easily hold food without much effort. Great purchase!

I want another set!! But my first set is still in excellent condition and about 1 1/2 years old. I ran across them when searching for a wedding gift. My sister is a head chef/sous chef off and on. And is picky about tongs used in the kitchen. I bought two sets one for her and myself. I love them because they feel like an extension of my own hand. Thicker and better working components. The locking / hook mechanism is so nice it works every time. They haven’t rusted or fallen part. And the best part they are a higher quality at a very decent price.

These came late but, I’m glad I didn’t cancel. They are nice weight easy to use comfortable to hold and made with thicker metals. Not happy made at all. I love them and very happy with them.

For some unexplained reason I lost my tongs So I had to buy a replacement. Read these have high reviews and sure enough I am happy with my purchase. They were sturdy, more so than my old ones and they can lock in place. Works well, easy to use, not thin or sharp, grip is perfect. I would buy them again. Also, I’m a big fan of Babish.
