This comforter is ideal for winter use especially with our cold Canadian winters. It’s not good for the summer because it gets extremely hot. Expect A LOT of feathers when changing the duvet sheets. Every time I change the sheets feathers are EVERYWHERE!

This is a nice, VERY lightweight duvet insert. It's soft, the warmth factor seems good and the price was right. That being said, it has very little loft, no fluff whatsoever. I laid it out after it arrived for several days and then popped it into the dry with low heat as manufacturer suggested, but alas, no loft. However, if you look at the picture they use for the item on Amazon, it shows it to be a pretty non-fluffy item. I would have preferred more fluff but alas, I live on an island and don't feel like hassling the return. If you are aware of the non-fluff factor, it's a pretty good deal.
