i've been using this for my own 'church smell' mixed with other oils that i wear everyday. this was the missing link to creating that wonderful gothic church scent.

I absolutely adore this Benzoin! It transports me to a beautiful place where stress and anxiety melts away. I have always had EXTREMELY sensitive skin and even walking near someone wearing strong products causes hives to immediately form all over my skin. Quite miserable but add hyperosmia to the issue and the migraines, nausea and other effects become completely consuming! So many oils and plants do these things to me as well, not just synthetic fragrances. My fair skin burns easily and, well, it’s not easy to deal with. *PLEASE, always, ALWAYS dilute benzoin before topical use because it’s acidic in its very nature and ever since this bottle arrived, I am over the moon! For the first time in so long, I am getting skin relief that I want to scream about from the rooftops! I have been adding it to sweet almond oil and to my shea butter creams that I was forced to start making once I exhausted everything over the counter, as far as moisturizers go, and couldn’t tolerate a single product without some sort of reaction. This oil CAN cause some uv sensitivity in some people and I have had some benzoin that did but this one?! My scalp, hair, face and entire body feels rejuvenated! I am terrified of becoming desensitized to the fragrance that has already changed my life because I am using it almost constantly! I even cast a concrete decorative piece that I am dripping this wonderful, sticky, resinous oil all over and my bedroom and bathroom smell amazing 24 hours a day! I don’t dilute as much as I probably should, for topical use but I keep pushing it to see when that acidity will affect me. So far I am confident that I can add it to just about everything I make and use without worry. But my friend is diluting appropriately and she says she feels a sensation that isn’t actually burning but noticeable so she started diluting a little more and has loved her results as well! I really wish the entire world smelled this sweetly beautiful! We would live in a much more peaceful and loving world! Not many things can so quickly fill the soul. THIS IS THE ONE! And please keep in mind to start with a nice dilution and work your way slowly back if you would like. Just to make sure your skin can tolerate it. Just in case! It’s such a great medicinal oil in so many ways. But it’s not for everyone. I absolutely despise and can’t handle lavender while everyone I know loves it. I’ll be in the dark for a whole day with a serious migraine. So, do with that what you will. Warm like a hug from your favorite grandparent while they are baking cookies with that amberous, comforting sensation that will keep you wanting more!

I bought it for some reason, didn't get to use it. Full bottle left. Smells sweet and cinnamony.
