Just buy these. Stop looking at other toys you are unsure if your kid will like. I have three kids ranging from 4-14 and they all play with them. Friends come over and want to play with them. These are well made, the texture is like a plastic waterproof feel so I tested out letting my kids use them in the bathtub and they held up well. (We have an old metal tub that you can stick magnets to). They are easy to use even for my 4 year old. The magnets are a good quality that kids can easily manipulate the shapes into what they want. Legos are fun, but I think these are more fun! Plus the added bonus, they don’t hurt if you step on them! They seem pricey, but they are well made and worth their value. I highly recommend getting them! If you are unsure you want to commit to buying the bigger pack, get a smaller one first then buy the big pack. They will all fit together and you will see kids use their imagination and challenge themselves to create more.

Very fun toy. Endless possibilities keeps the kids entertained. The pieces hold up well despite lots of use. Fun colors and shapes for kids.

It is expensive. However, the quality is evident. Our family is loving it. It is fun for 3 year olds all the way to the parents. Our 8 year old daughter has built a lot of different animals, robots, etc, I love watching her create and solve problems. The pieces come in a quality box and is very easy to maintain in it. If you buy some of the extra smaller packs you can always keep in the same box as there is extra space. I would say that for our family (4), we had to buy more sets to be able to have fun at the same time without removing pieces from someone’s creation. The kit was small for us since we all ended up wanting to play with it.

My six year old grandson actually requested this. He had a very small set and since this set is not cheap, he asked for it as a present. He was so excited when he got it and immediately began building. It's a great toy.

I'm with the reviewer who said these simply aren't inspiring: sounded like a great idea, and all the 5 star reviews made me go for it, but it's difficult to make anything that looks like what one is attempting to build. Not difficult to handle: just not enough variety in the shapes to come up with a lot of ideas. The pieces are well made and sturdy though.

We absolutely love this toy! The pieces are bright, flexible, and incredibly easy for kids to connect and reshape, which keeps them engaged for a long time. My child immediately started creating characters, animals, and imaginative figures — the creativity is endless.

These are amazing. We take them on planes, we take them to restaurants, my daughter plays with them during quiet time, when she has trouble napping. This is probably the best toy we have.

Positive: Versatile and portable toy. Really does encourage creativity. In some ways, it felt like a progression from magnatiles, which can get repetitive with angular shapes. Negative: Single magnet pieces can get lost.
