Clip 2 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Black)

This portable speaker was highly recommended by someone due to its price and performance. I can say that I am very satisfied by this sizeable thing. I use it quite a lot. It's useful for people like me whose car is too old for a direct connection from the phone to the car audio system and has to rely on things like this. I'm not an audiophile, but I have no qualms about the sound quality. The volume control has a wide range. I like how the volume doesn't go from 0 to 10 with one press of the button and goes gradually up or down; it allows for perfect situation adaptation. I sleep with music playing, too, and I can dial down the speaker to an appropriate volume without struggling to hear the music or having it play too loudly like on my phone. The variety of methods to connect your audio device to the speaker is very much appreciated, as well. I default to the Bluetooth which works great.

Note: There is a battery indicator next to the bluetooth icon on your phone. I was afraid I was spending too much for such a small speaker. There were cheaper options, but I took a dive on this one knowing I can trust JBL. I am glad that I didn't go cheap on this one. There is sufficient, tight bass. Mids are very clear and loud and the highs aren't annoyingly tincan-ny like most small speakers. The overall audio quality is enjoyable wether you're indoors or outdoors. Waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes and it will not break when dropped. I replaced the carabiner included with a much bigger one for when I'm hiking or mountain biking. The permanently attached rubber that holds the carabiner is durable. My favorite thing about this speaker is how fast and stable bluetooth connection is. The only thing I despise about this speaker is the permanently attached 3.5mm aux/audio cord. Breaking it means game-over for those who don't have bluetooth capable devices. A bluetooth transmitter is an option at this point. I'd buy another for my son's bike if I could afford it.

I bought this speaker for biking and camping and paddle boarding — as well as to loan to my 10 year old music lover when he’s wants to take music outside. In our house, we are Bose fans ( we own and love the Bose Mini Soundlink and the Bose Soundtouch but I didn’t like the price, reviews, or look of the Bose waterproof Soundlink Micro. I didn’t want to spend $99 for “Bose with a cold” as one reviewer said nor did I want to hand over something that cost $99 to my son. Anyway, long story short, I decided to give this JBL a try. So far, it’s uh-maaaaaaazing. Honestly, I’m shocked by how great this TINY speaker sounds. Also, it paired truly effortlessly with both my 2018 iPhone and my son’s 2017 kindle. I can’t yet speak to its long term durability when it comes to biking, camping and paddle boarding, but so far, for the price point, I’m super impressed by the sound and quality. I say buy.

I owned the original Clip - two of them in fact, and I loved them to death...(biking in NYC will do that to things). My review of that one is here: https://www.amazon.com/review/R16BLM4UNRMKKZ/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm. So when the Clip 2 came out - with a new clip mechanism- I was curious, so Voila! Clip 2 from Amazon. Having used it now for maybe three-four months, I am 100% satisfied. Sound is good and generally loud enough for me, even in traffic. And if you need louder you can link two units, which I haven't tried or needed yet. Battery is very good, seems much better than the first one. And I have started to like the power-up and Bluetooth connection sounds - cute ;-) And to me maybe the most important change, the clip. It is now pure metal, fairly strong it seems - and accepts much bigger fixtures. That was the main issue I had with the previous model, the small opening of the clip, which sometimes led to having to force it onto the fixture, with subsequent broken clip... I do not use the phone-related functions so cannot comment on that. What more? Buy it!

I bought the clip 2 after my old oonz angle got stolen. The sound quality is exceptional, the battery life is pretty good as well, the build quality seemed good to me, until the carabiner assembly broke off after only a couple months of use. I really will miss the convenience of being able to clip a lightweight, and waterproof(yes I tested the water proof ability) speaker to my bike, pack, bag, or pretty much anywhere. Conclusion, I baught this speaker because it was 20 bucks cheaper than the 3 at the time, but at the time of writing this, the 3 is only 5 dollars more, get the 3, I cannot see how the carabiner will fail, and the sound volume and quality is said to be better.

Bought this about a month ago to have a portable speaker hang onto my tool belt. Works and sounds great. I had a sound link mini, which sounds fantastic, but it was just too damn heavy to carry around and I also wasn't able to charge it via USB (needs to plug into outlet). So I bought this and plenty of other small, USB charged portable speakers and the Clip 2 BY FAR sound the best out of the other ones of which I've returned. For its size, it's handles bass very well with very little distortion, even at high volumes, all while having the clarity music deserve. And believe me, this thing get loud! It's extremely light, 10 hr battery, USB charged, waterproof, can also be daisy-chained, and all under 50 bucks. Again, for ITS SIZE AND PRICE, it's the best little speaker out there hands down.

I was on vacation over the 4th of July and saw someone using this speaker by the pool. It was clipped to a beach bag. I was impressed with the sound and the portability. I ordered one and am very impressed with it. It has great tone and volume and is very useful. Recently, my wife and I were traveling in our car on I-75. At highway speeds it can be difficult to get sufficient volume without blasting us out. I decided to use the JBL Clip2 and stream music from my iPhone. Wow, what an improvement! I put it on the console and problem solved. Clear tone and we listened to music commercial free. If you want a good Bluetooth speaker with flexibility, buy this. You‘ll be glad you did.

Light weight and sound is good.

Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um einen high end Hifi Lautsprecher. Wenn ich mir hier so manche Bewertungen durchlese, dann haben einige Käufer das anscheinend jedoch erwartet. Für den Preis kann das logischerweise NICHT so sein. Für mich ist es erstaunlich, was aus dem kleinen Gerät an Klang herauskommt. Die Akkulaufzeit und die Bluetooth Verbindung mit meinem Handy ist sehr gut. Der Lautsprecher scheint auch sehr robust zu sein. Ich nutze ihn in der Freizeit und auf Montage seit ca. einem dreiviertel Jahr. Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

É durável, com 3 anos de uso. Dá para usar dentro do Box do banho.

Muy buena bocina, la calidad de audio como en todas las bocinas Bluetooth depende de la calidad del archivo de audio, con archivos mp3 de 128 kbps la fidelidad es aceptable, no sufre vibraciones basura pero si se pierde la fidelidad con canciones con sonidos graves abundantes sin llegar a la distorsión. Con archivos de 340 kbps la fidelidad se mantiene en todo momento. El volumen es excelente, la utilizo para escuchar música mientras viajo en mi bicicleta y puedo escuchar la música sin problemas. El mosqueton o gancho para colgarla es de aceptable calidad con relación al peso de la bocina, que es muy ligera, la he utilizado en la alberca y el río, flota sin problemas y nunca ha presentado fallas a pesar de tantas veces que la he mojado incluso sumergido 40 o 60 centímetros. El único detalle que le veo es el cable auxiliar funciona perfectamente y la calidad de audio es superior cuando se conecta por el cable auxiliar, el problema es que con el tiempo el conector auxiliar se zafa de la ranura que tiene la bocina para guardar/colocar el cable. La recomiendo plenamente

Es muy buena bocina exelente 10/10 si pueden comprarla comprenla es muy practica el bluetooth funciona de maravilla se escucha demasiado bien
