Gold Bond Medicated Body Powder Original Strength 4 Oz

This product does exactly what it promises.

I'd been doing a lot of outside work that involved carrying heavy stone from point A to point B in the heat. I was getting sweaty. Suddenly one day I got a stinging burning raw area around the crotch/legs/nuts. A shower and that went away. However, what was left over were days of really bad itch around the same area. Baby powder helped but didn't last long and the area would still get sweaty and itchy even when not working in the heat. After weeks of this I had to try something else. Always heard about Gold Bond products. Couldn't find the powder in the stores. Got Gold Bond powder from Amazon and it worked much better than baby powder but it too would wear off too soon. It kept the area drier and noticeably comfortable but the bad itch would return after a short while. I did a little more research and found a home remedy for jock itch; wash the effected area with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water to kill any fungal infection. That home remedy and Gold Bond did the trick. A very noticeable improvement in comfort.

Needed something under breast and works very well.

Works the best of all the powders, unless you already have a fungus infection (you'll needs an anti-fungal for that, until it clears up, although you don't want to continually use an anti-fungal when you aren't infected). They call it "medicated" because it helps prevent infections, although there aren't any drugs per se in it. The "extra strength" green bottle is too strong for delicate areas, it can burn. This original version doesn't irritate, and unlike corn starch powders, doesn't encourage fungal growth. However, be very careful that you don't puff it into the air, because it contains talc, just like baby powder. The tiny travel bottle is great to carry with you, but it is very expensive per ounce unless you buy the biggest bottle, which is not always available.
