Perfect replacement
Perfect kit! The extra-thick wax ring gave a tight, watertight seal and stopped odors immediately. Comes with everything you need—closet bolts, caps, flange, and washers—making installation quick and simple. Fits both 3” and 4” waste lines without issue. Solid quality, no leaks, and a great price for a complete kit. Highly recommend for any toilet install or repair!

EXTRA WAX THICKNESS NEVER HURTS
THICKER WAX, ALWAYS, I say. Wax dries up, shrinks, disintegrates over a period of time, and the thinner wax seals have never been my choice ever since I experienced the breakdown and smelly, nasty leakage that seeped out from under the commode, ruining oak parquet flooring in a small downstairs guest bathroom. That did it for ME! I went looking for better answers and have bought NOTHING but the double wax seals since more than 30 years ago. They do work well, sealing for a number of years before starting to break down. Inexpensive, as well.

Probably didnt need to pay this much for a wax ring
I have been having trouble with the upstairs toilet as far as the wax rings failing sooner than they should. I generally only spend about 5 bucks for a wax ring, even the super thick ones but this was a bit of an emergency and was available next day and had super reviews. Yes, It worked perfectly. I cant say if it will last longer than the cheaper rings but it did appear to be of a better overall quality. Fifteen dollars is a bit overpriced imo but in the long run it may have been a good investment. I would be super happy with this in the ten dollar range but is what it is and I am happy and would recommend it. I want to add that the customer sevice is exceptional. That may even be worth the extra five dollars.
