Used the golden eggs for money and color eggs for candy.

So me and husband was doing our first easter egg hunt for our neighborhood and I purchased these golden eggs to place money inside to give more excitement to the hunt. They were easy to hide and when the kids saw a golden egg they were so excited for the cash.

Like most people, I bought these eggs for Easter. I wanted this Easter Egg Hunt to really stand out, and the images advertised by the company would do exactly that. The gold eggs with a beautiful smooth satin finish both inside and outside the eggs seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately, they are too good to be true. The images outright lie about what you will receive:- The finish is not smooth but is bubbly. It seems that these eggs have been spraypainted- The paint finish immediately starts to crack off and chip once the egg is opened. The pictures lead customers to believe that the egg is gold-colored plastic, NOT a black egg with gold paint. This paint will get everywhere as you open the eggs to fill them. I'm not sure what kind of paint this is (there is no indication of it being non-toxic anywhere on the listing nor packaing) and it may be dangerous to breathe or touch. This deterioration leaves the black plastic under the gold paint to show - which brings me to the next point.- The interior is shown as being gold in the listing's images, however the interior is black. The inner color doesn't matter, but the company should be honest about what you will be getting because if I saw they were black inside I would've known they were painted and would not have bought them.- I received eggs with greasy fingerprints (and one was broken) which makes me think they were used.I know this is a long review for merely Easter Eggs, but I want people to know what they will really be getting. Also due to the misrepresentation, not only I have wasted $18.99 on 24 terrible quality Easter Eggs, but I will now also have to run to Walgreens to get some cheap Easter Eggs (that at least won't crack paint.)

Fairly flimsy eggs that can shatter in your palms if you manhandle them. Manhandling not recommended.These are great for storing treats to surprise others. I also placed a few wooden eggs inside these. These eggs will deliver.

3 of the eggs couldnt force open and 1 of them completely cracked to open. Otherwise the shine was great and made the hunt for the remaining eggs fun.

I bought these because they said they were hinged they are not at all they are just regular plastic eggs very disappointed
