Not only a delicious chocolate cream cookie, it also has large sugar crystals dusted on the outside. It sparks my memories of afternoon tea in England 30 years ago. Merchant is nice. When a package broke in transit, he replaced the package free of charge. Nice people. Nice cookie.

We were intrigued by these after seeing them on a travel video. Quite nice on their own, excellent with a hot beverage.

These biscuits are wonderful. The cookie part isn't too sweet and the chocolate has an okay flavor, but it isn't my favorite. It's a tad too sweet for me compared to some other products I've had similar to this, but they'd go perfectly with an unsweetened tea or milk. There's a decent amount in each pack, and if I remember correctly there are 4 packs in the box. They're absolutely perfect to pack for traveling and you won't have to worry about them going stale quickly either!

First, I didn't know what I was ordering. I was purchasing for my father and searched for "bourbon gifts." I suppose I should have read the reviews! I thought the ingredients would include bourbon! Doh. Second. What I received was different from what I ordered, though it may not be particularly relevant. The net weight was 390g not 400g. For those who care, per product labeling, these biscuits are a "product of India." Now for a review of the actual cookies! I ordered the cookies on June 11, 2019. The box of the cookies I received, indicates they were packaged July 2018; the cookies I'm reviewing might have been a bit stale. Per the Amazon product description, I was expecting "Thick, rich and delicious chocolate packed between two crunchy chocolate biscuits." Not thick. Definitely not rich. Not particularly favorable, so definitely not delicious. The product picture strains credulity. Chocolate cream so fresh and creamy that it spills out, just a bit, between the "chocolate couplet?" Chocolate cream worthy of licking first before eating the cookies?" I don't think so. Perhaps reviewers who have never had an Oreo cookie might find this filling to be scrumptious. Frankly, the filling between these cookies isn't nearly as creamy as the filling found in the most inexpensive generic Oreo imitation. Truly, I can't imagine anyone bothering to "lick" the "cream" filling first. While the biscuits are definitely not "melt-in-your-mouth." However, I've given the product 3 stars because they are great for dipping in coffee. (They might even be great soaked in Bourbon and perhaps I should have given that a try!) They are crispy enough to not fall apart after absorbing thee coffee. I like that. Not what I was expecting, but I didn't know that Bourbon cookies were a type of biscuit. I thought the name indicated that bourbon would be an actual ingredient! Now I know that's not the case! Regardless, they aren't creamy, delicious, or melt-in-your-mouth. I can't believe I paid almost USD $9.00!
