I recently purchased and installed the ICEPURE Under Sink Water Filter System and have been thoroughly impressed. The main selling points for me were the claimed three-year lifespan and the ease of installation, and the product has delivered on both fronts. Installation and Setup One of my biggest concerns was the installation process, but the "plug-and-play" design made it incredibly simple. The system comes with clear instructions, and I had it hooked up and ready to use in under [e.g., 15 minutes, half an hour]. There was no need to hire a plumber or mess with complicated tools, which was a huge relief. The direct-connect feature is fantastic as it allows you to use your existing faucet, saving you from drilling an extra hole in your countertop. Performance and Water Quality The change in water quality was immediately noticeable. The filter is NSF/ANSI certified, which gave me confidence in its ability to remove contaminants. The most significant improvement I’ve seen is in the taste and smell of my water. The chlorine taste that was previously present is completely gone, and the water is now crisp, clean, and refreshing. It's a noticeable difference not just for drinking, but also for cooking and making coffee. Long-Term Value The claim of a 3-year or 22,000-gallon filter life is a major advantage. A Few Minor Points While my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Easy install. They provided everything right down to the teflon tape! All I needed was a 3/8” water T splitter and a wrench. Added a dedicated faucet and voila! Filtered water spigot! I was immediately impressed by the flow rate. I added the extra faucet because I didn’t want to see a pressure drop in my cold water line when I was washing dishes and such. At 2.5 gpm, I’m pretty certain I wouldn’t have noticed. My second thought was “well if it’s flowing that fast, it can’t be filtered that well…” Now I don’t have fancy test equipment at my disposal- but my city has a LOT of chlorine smell and taste in our water, and it was GONE. The water has zero taste and zero smell. I’m going to give this one 5 stars Chet!! Great buy. Definitely recommend.

Works great -the tap water used to come out brown and now its coming out clear (finally!). Its easy to install under the kitchen sink (thats where we are using it, although you could also put it under the bathroom sink) and the water is tasting so much better now! I dont know how long it will last, it says 22000 gallons which seems like alot, however we are a family of 3 so it might not last as long, however for the cost, its of great value because a full house system would be sooo much more!

Easy to install and it works great. If using the adapters like I did you will need a couple raps of the Teflon tape to get it to seal, that was the only issue I ran into was that it needed more than I thought it would.

I recently moved to a city with city-supplied water, and noticed the taste was not good. I tested the tap water (using test strips) and some of the 16 items tested for were slightly elevated, but all within EPA requirements. Still, the taste was not good, I assume due to disinfecting chlorine. So I bought the IcePure under-sink filtration system. INSTALLATION The installation user guide (which was attached to the product page) looks professional and thus complete. But I found the installation instructions insufficient, for two reasons: 1. While they advise/require at least four inches under the filter (due to future filter replacement), they don't advise how much space to leave on either side of the filter. To avoid bending the inflow and outflow lines too much, I recommend at least four inches on the sides. 2. The filter and the wall mount ("filter head") arrive attached. After you drill the two holes for the filter head, make your life easier by detaching the filter from the wall mount, and take the top of the wall mount off (it easily snaps off) to expose the wall mount's attachment holes. Then put the wall mount on the screws and make the screws snug. And reattach the filter. Note that once the wall mount and filter are secured under the sink, the plumbing work is fairly easy (although there's limited space usually under the sink to work within). If you've ever replaced a kitchen faucet, this installation is much easier. I did use the supplied teflon tape on my connections even though the instructions did not call for it. WATER QUALITY I tested the filtered water, and it brought down some of my tested values. Based on the EPA limits (there aren't that many...), I believe the tap water is safe to drink, so the IcePure filtered water should be safer. The taste is also much better than the unfiltered tap. WATER FLOW This wasn't a factor when I looked at water filters, but the flow rate is indistinguishable from the flow rate before I attached the water filter. Much appreciated! CUSTOMER SUPPORT After I installed the water filter, I emailed their support group, and asked two questions: 1. What are the included stickers for? (There are twelve monthly stickers, and stickers numbered 1 ro 31, presumably days.) Customer support reply: "You can contact Amazon to return the product within 30 days of using it." Huh? 2. How will I know when to change the water filter? Customer support reply: "According to our experience, if the filtered water tastes bad and the water flow is significantly reduced, we think it is time to replace the filter." Helpful. Overall, the IcePure water filter is a clear improvement over my city's tap water. As long as the filter lasts a long time, I'll be a happy customer.

I bought this filter thinking about its ease of installation. However, I did not realise that there was no spare part available in the UK. The seller on Amazon has not responded to my question and as a result, the filter is rather worthless. I would not have spent this money on a system that cannot be maintained without going to great expense to import a filter from the US and pay the hight importation taxes and postage charges. It is a bit like buying a cheap printer and then finding you have to fork out huge amounts in ink. I wish I had done better research about maintenance and not just compared products. Happy with it as a filter in itself but not with the end result! Buyer beware.

Un peu moins capé que le Frizzlife sur les normes et avec des raccords pas communs donc passage en magasin de bricolage quasi obligatoire pour les adaptateurs. Mais lui ne fuit pas contrairement au concurrent cité ci dessus. Mauvais goût de l’eau effacé mais pour combien de temps ? Débit diminué mais pas catastrophique, logique avec une filtration si petite en particules. Un pré-filtre de 10 microns à bobine évitera un colmatage rapide de ce genre de cartouche si votre eau est dure et chargées micro résidus. Pas de miracles !

Funktion und Montage des Filters mit seiner Halterung sind gut erklärt und einfach zu installieren. Der Filterwechsel ist ebenfalls einfach durchzuführen. Nur die Größe der Schlauchverschraubungen, sind trotz beiliegenden Adaptern zumindest in Spanien nur mit weiteren Reduzierungen montierbar. Das Ergebnis der Wasserfiltration ist jedenfalls hervorragend. Der Geschmack und Geruch hat sich eindeutig zur Trinkwasserqualität verbessert !!!

Tuve un problema al cabo del tiempo porque el carbón activo se saturó/obstruyó mucho antes de lo publicitado, pero el vendedor me compensó inmediatamente con gran profesionalidad y agilidad. Un 10 sin dudarlo, entendieron el problema y lo resolvieron en muy poco tiempo. Gracias por todo.
