I purchased this Skimmer net over 3 years ago and aside from a little sun bleaching of the red coloring it is absolutely as good as new. This is hands down the very best skimmer net I have ever purchased. The quality is 2nd to none. ProTuff did not cheap out in any way with this pool rake - I understand why this product came with an unlimited free replacement warranty - this thing is made so well, it won't have to be replaced probably ever. And don't think I have been easy on this thing. I have 6 trees all around my house that dump millions of leaves into my pool every year. This rake makes getting them out a breeze. It is huge and holds way more leaves than I can even carry, and I can scrape this thing all over the bottom to get the big leaves and debris that falls down to the bottom of the pool ( which is ALOT). It has held up really well. If you look closesly at the top of the rake you might see minor (and I mean MINOR) wear on the red plastic. No holes or unraveling or powderizing of the netting either. The net looks brand new just like the day I got it. And it is heavy duty, too. Ask the huge 4 pound prehistoric sized orange iguana I fished out last week. I used to buy pool nets every year or so. Sure, ProTuff is a little more, but its been over 3 years and still good as new, so if you value quality and don't want to waste your money on inferior products, get ProTuff's pool rake. You will not be disappointed and I am sure you will agree, it is the best pool rake/skimmer net you have every purchased! By far, the best pool net I ever bought. It worked orders of magnitude beyond the pool nets sold at pool supply stores, home depot or lowes. It's a large net, incredibly strong and durable. Mine did snap where the pole attaches to the net. ProTuff sent me a new net as advertised in their lifetime warranty no questions asked. For that, I think they are an amazing company and am now going to return as a customer for all the other supplies they have that I need. Very rare to find a company that honors their word without a ton of hoops and hassle. I fully recommend them. Happy customer here.

I originally purchased this net about 6 years ago for my FL in-ground pool. I've used it about twice per month to scoop up larger debris like Palm fronds before setting my robot vacuum loose. The net worked fine, but the plastic rim eventually cracked and it completely fell apart about a week ago. Looking to buy a replacement, I checked my order history here to see what I bought. I was happy to "rediscover" that my net had a lifetime warranty! Better yet, the warranty service is actually as easy as stated. I used the warranty link on the ProTuff website, entered my Amazon order # and my address, and that was all I needed to do. It really did take about 2 minutes. I got an email saying a replacement would be sent out shortly. My new pool net arrived 3 days later. And I was VERY happy to see that it's been improved. Most importantly, the plastic rim is thicker and much sturdier. The net seems a bit sturdier too, and it has a zipper for easy replacement. The plastic rim can also be removed and replaced separately (unlike my first net), which all makes sense for more cost-effective warranty service. This net requires a bit of easy assembly. Just remove the 2 zip ties holding the frame tight, attach the bracket (2 sides and a sleeve fit over the ends of the metal frame, then 3 screws to secure), and it's ready to use. NOTE: Don't cut the zip ties; they are reusable, with a small nub that releases the strip when pushed. A few extra ones are provided too (just for personal use), and I will be using them for luggage, etc. The new net works fine, and seems a bit smoother than my original. This could be due to the thicker, wider plastic rim. I'm pretty sure it will last longer than my first one, and the real lifetime warranty means I won't need to buy a new one down the road. For quality, sturdiness, and warranty, this net is definitely a great deal compared to the cheaper nets I looked at. Highly recommended.

This Pool Net is top quality, designed for and used by professionals. I've owned many pool nets over the past 35 years, and this one by ProTuff since December of 2023. It is the best performing pool net I've ever used. The mesh net fabric finally has a small hole at the bottom, from normal wear. Since the product has a lifetime warranty, I contacted ProTuff expecting to get a mesh net replacement that I would have to install myself. They wrote back and said they were sending me a brand-new complete net with frame, etc., which I received within 3 days. ProTuff upgraded the net design so that the mesh fabric can easily be replaced using a zipper. That is a clever design. Why throw away the whole net when only the fabric needs replacing? They made it easy for the homeowner to change the net without tools.

I have been very pleased with this net. It is strong, the shape cleans our koi pond very well and the mesh size is perfect for cleaning out the algae and sludge from the bottom. It also empties out far easier than I expected. A GREAT product. I use it a lot and it has made a big difference in our pond.

Overall this skimmer net works great. I like the fact that it is clear so that you can see leaves and debris floating underneath the water. My previous skimmer net was white and I found it harder to capture this type if material. It also glides through the water with medium resistance, which is good based on the small size of the openings in the net (i.e. for silt). I also find their warranty very impressive. The only negative comment is that I find the depth of the net to be a little small. This means you have to empty it more often. If you try to collect too much debris it just spills over into the pool. Another 2"-3" would be ideal.

Super well made, quality is amazing. Sinuses to buy one every season and this one is still as good as new after 3 seasons.
