Japanese Embroidery Scissors Small 4.3", Made in JAPAN, Sharp Precision Scissors for Sewing,Thread, Applique

My wife is using these for sewing. She commented that they cut so precisely, the thread has a square end and can be threaded into the sewing machine needle much more easily than before. These are so superior to the cheap cr*p scissors that are sold in Walmart, Target, or equivalent, there is little comparison. Just buy good tools in life.

I now have three pairs of ALLEX scissors. These are hand-crafted in Seki Japan by Hayaski Cutlery. When it comes to the crafting of sharp, precise metal edges, in everything from (these) scissors ... to (Feather) double-edge safety razor blades ... to centuries of samurai swords ... no one knows the tradition & skill of that craftsmanship better than the Japanese.I uploaded a copy of the cardback the scissors were mounted-on so you can (1) see the correct catalog/part number and (2) so you can see these are indeed Japanese scissors intended primarily for the Japanese market.

I ordered these scissors hoping they would be as precise as advertised, but found that on of the tips was dull and not pointy as it should be. Returned them and received a replacement the next day with exactly the same issue. Can’t get a precision cut at the tip if you don’t have pin point accuracy and alignment, which makes them useless for applications such as close thread trimming, which they are designed for.Not satisfied with the product at all!
