NOT for metal
These are good for the price ($22) but I got about 4 seconds of use on some mild steel before it ripped off all the grit. I’m sure they’d be fine on wood or aluminum.

Works perfectly
They work perfectly for detail sanding. I use them to clean up the bits of paint left behind after using heat to remove the paint from my old woodwork in my old house. It tough to get the bits removed from uneven surfaces and these were the perfect solution.

the cones are no good
THE FLAPPER WHEELS ARE OKAY BUT THE CONE SHAPE GRIT IS TERRIBLE. IT WILL NOT HOLD UP TO SOF COOPER.

These worked great for smoothing out Exhaust manifolds and the intake plumbing on my diesel truck when I added a new turbo.

I saw some bad reviews about the cones style sanders falling apart… that didn’t happen to me. I have been using the heck out of them with no issues at all! Maybe they were running their drill in reverse??? I would highly recommend these.
