This rejuvenating oil worked wonders on my hair (long, fine, and in generally good shape but is worked hard with a body wave, highlights and color, and blown dry or otherwise heat-styled almost every day)! I recently had a body wave put in my hair and it was a little worse for wear afterwards (dry, ends where a little bit fried, etc.). I have a repairing shampoo and conditioner (not Philip B) that I like very much and that have always worked well for me, but I wanted to give the repair work a little boost, given the extra stress of the body wave. I've always heard great things about Philip B products, so I decided to give this oil a try. I used it on my hair about a week and a half or so after I had the body wave done. Philip B has some great instructional videos on YouTube and excellent instructions/tips on their website (FYI they say to use this up to the day before you have your color done and no sooner the 4-5 days following a color treatment). I read the tips they posted on how to use this oil and followed their instructions exactly. I put the oil on my dry hair until it reached the saturation point (I went all the way to the scalp with the oil), then added some heat via the hair dryer for just a few minutes, let it sit for approximately 45 minutes, got in the shower and added shampoo throughout my hair, then added water and lathered (rinse and repeat). I'd say that even just using it one time so far, the damage from the body wave has been almost completely resolved! Afterwards my hair was very soft (all the dryness and frizzy ends were gone), had great volume, and was extremely manageable without being weighed down at all (had none of the post-oil, droopy feeling I've gotten with other products). Also, this oil smells great! This oil has now become a permanent and regular part of my hair care regimen and I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who needs a repair boost and would highly recommend it for those who color or otherwise process their hair. But do check out the tips/instructions and maybe the videos on how to use these products as following the proper procedure seems to be key to getting a really great result.

I read reviews for acute scalp itching and hair loss. Suddenly greasy at the roots, having to wash hair every day and still greasy and itchy. Unbearable. The review said buy this oil!!! Mad I thought. I was desperate so bought it. Also bought cider vinegar. Put vinegar on the roots and scalp and saturated the rest of hair to ends with this oil. Slept with it overnight in a shower cap. By the morning I had NOT been scratching the scalp all night and my scalp had cooled and calmed down. I washed my hair with my normal shampoo but gave it an extra wash. Kept my conditioner to the ends only. Rinsed for a bit more than usual. Hey presto! Better hair than I've had in years. The oil is worth the money. You can just put it on the ends the night before you're going to wash it to make it go further. It makes the hair soft, strong and shiney. I think my episode of scalp itch and grease was caused by an expensive shine spray that cost £16 and will last 3 months. So £27 for a natural product that will last 6-12 months is economical and it works! Hooray.
