Soft and hydrated skin!
I have waited about two weeks before writing this review to see how I like the products after a decent amount of use. I have combination skin and my oily parts are extremely oily and my dry spots are extremely dry, so when I am trying new products, I usually use once per day, regardless of the recommendations, and I use at night in case I have a reaction - no one wants a flaming red face just before leaving the house in the morning! Anyway, the Retinol and Vitamin C serums work really well with my combination skin, my face has not been inflamed in the least, and it actually feels softer and more hydrated. I have not really noticed a difference in any fine lines or wrinkles yest, but I would suppose that would take weeks to notice...it took years for them to get there in the first place. Since my once per day trial has done well, I am bumping it up to the twice per day recommendation as of today and I can tell you that everything has gone well so far. The products did not have any adverse effects on my make-up application and my skin still feels soft and hydrated. The one plus I did notice, is that my hormonal acne (deep acne on my jawline and neck), while not absolutely horrid to begin with, has been a bit better since starting the products. That could be easily explained as a hormonal shift, or it could be the product - time will tell, but I thought it worth mentioning. When applying, watch the Vitamin C serum...it is quite runny. The Retinal is a bit thicker and both are easily applied to the entire face and neck area. One of them, I cannot remember which right this second, has a bit of a funny smell at first, but it goes away pretty quickly.I will not decide if I will continue to purchase the products until I have used them longer, but as of right now, it looks pretty promising.

Absolute BEST skin care products I've ever used!!
At almost 60 years old, I've tried a LOT of skin care products, in almost every price range (though I've never given thought of paying hundreds of dollars for ANY product). I came upon the Derma-nu products quite by chance while doing some research and comparing products. I decided to take a chance on these products (the prices were more than competitive) becauses I like the list of ingredients in them and could see they met all of the essentials for great skin care.Initially, I ordered just this pair of products as I was new to the line and thought I'd give them a try. I loved the Retinol Serum 2.5% and Vitamin C Serum almost from 1st use so I ordered the moisturizer to go with them.At almost 60, I've taken care of my skin for most of my adult life, but I was never a stranger to the sun when younger and residing in Florida. I even spent 8 days in Aruba with no sunscreen whatsoever! Nonetheless, I escaped the major ravishes of sun damage but had areas on my face that needed attention. (I have had laser treatments, facials, chemical peels, etc.) One area on my right cheek, next to my mouth had skin that had a rather (slight) rippling or "orange peel" texture, which got no results from any other products or procedures I'd tried.Much to my surprise...and delight...after using the Derma-nu products for only 2 weeks or so, I began to notice a difference in that particular area of my face! (this was when I ordered the moisturizer). The products have continued to improve the texture of my skin, especially in the problem areas, to the point where they are more difficult to detect (someone told me they couldn't even SEE the "problem" area!).So, I recently ordered the cranberry oxygen scrub and can't wait to add it to my regime!

It's okay, but no miracle
I was excited to get both vitamin C and retinol serums in one package but I'm not really seeing noticeable results. (I use the Vit. C in the morning and the retinol at night.) Before this purchase I used the .075 retinol serum from Biopelle Retriderm and had to break it in for awhile. My skin didn't look great for the first week or two. Obviously the serum was doing something. Once my skin adjusted it started looking really good; smooth with more even tones. So I thought a 2.5% serum (which seems to be quite a leap from .075) would take some adjusting to but I've had no reaction whatsoever. I wonder if the potency as listed on the Derma-nu product is accurate. They are both nice serums but I'm questioning their effectiveness. My skin looks good, but I also use other moisturizers and sunblock so I don't know if I can make any real claims on the effectiveness of the Derma-nu Miracle Skin Remedies (hate that word "miracle" - that should have been a red flag to begin with). I'm also having issues with the design of the pump. In order to get the retinol out I have to press the pump very hard and then more squirts out than I want to use, resulting in wasted serum. (The Vit. C pump works just fine.) It's just an okay product, by no means a "miracle".

Why is the packaging so huge?
The consistency of the vitamin c serum is not significantly different from water, which makes application somewhat difficult. However, it has helped with managing breakouts. The retinol serum is thicker. I haven't seen any decrease in fine lines or wrinkles, but I have noticed that my skin looks more awake and hydrated when I use it.The only thing I don't understand is why the packaging is so huge. It's quite deceptive considering how much product is actually in the bottle. I popped off the silver cap at the bottom and saw almost the whole tube was empty. Like, I could stick my whole finger in there. Wtf.
