Can the RGB be controlled without using corsair software?

ICue is required for other programs to sync the ram RGB. I have an Asus X570 and I can control the ram with Aura, but iCue has to be installed and set to allow full control from a 3rd party program..

Amd optimized memory? is it for amd? can i use stick-on aorus gaming7 z370 + intel i7 8700k chipset?

Yes, it will bring you up to 64gb, However, it is with my experience best to buy a 64GB set, this ensures your RAM matches up with one another. I have bought 32GB and bought another 32GB at a later time. Even though, my new RAM was of the same make and model and were accurately identified and recognized both in BIOS and Windows they did not play well so to speak. I began to have corrupted data files/program errors etc. RAM diagnostics verified my suspicions that RAM was at fault. Both 32GB pairs tested fine as individual pairs, but when I ran both pairs at the same time as 64GB, errors would occur when running diagnostics. Like I said previously, they just didn't play well together. I'm now just running 32GB and keeping the other 32GB on hand as a backup. I intend to buy a 64GB set in the future.
