ALEAVIA Prebiotic Acne Repair Kit, 12 FZ

I bought this for my teenage daughter. I was skeptical that it would work. But, my daughter had horrible nodulocystic acne (the worst possible acne that one can get); and, we were at the end of our rope. There was barely an inch of her face and neck that wasn't covered in acne. We tried EVERYTHING!!! I took her to her primary care physician. He prescribed an antibiotic cream, as well as antibiotic capsules. They didn't really work. To be more specific, the acne did diminish but, only very slightly (about 1/6 went away); and, the redness and cysts didn't go away at all. Then it seemed to come back with vengeance within a couple of weeks after the prescription ended. I then took her to a dermatologist.They prescribed several things, including antibiotics AGAIN; as well as, some very expensive prescription creams. These things cleared up perhaps 1/4 or less of her acne but, also caused her whole face to turn red from severe dryness. Again, after the prescriptions ended, the acne came right back worse than ever. She also tried literally everything on the shelves at every pharmacy in town. A major problem with the prescription creams, as well as the creams off of the shelves is that they dried her face out very badly to the point of being painful. It was hard for her to even talk or chew. Any facial movement was very uncomfortable. This didn't help any with her social life or self image. The acne never went away to any really noticeable degree. We also tried numerous natural remedies, as well as changes in diet. Although these remedies didn't dry her skin out, they also didn't help with the acne. The Aleavia Prebiotic products, however, was the very first treatment to really help her acne to any significant degree. I would estimate that after just a few weeks of use, a minimum of probably 3/4 of her acne is gone, including the redness from the nodules and cysts. The dryness from all of the previous treatments is also clearing up. She finally feels like there might be some hope for her. I would definitely recommend this product!

I’ve tried many different products for the last 5-7 years. I gave up before finding these products. I waited to leave a review until I’d been using the products for at least a week. It’s been close to 2 weeks now and my skin has never been more clear. I’ve removed dairy, processed foods and processed sugars from my diet, I eat a plant based diet, drink tons of water and take good whole food multivitamins and supplements. So this wash + spray was the icing to the cake. I was having a few leftover stubborn breakouts because my skin was not balanced. Now that I’ve used Aleavia my skin has been remarkably clear and toned. It does dry the skin out but adding a good natural moisturizer during the day helps, otherwise I let it stay dry for a few hours to dry up the natural oiliness of my face. I’ve been washing day and night to get the results. I am sold, I won’t be using anything now that I’ve found what works (diet most importantly + lifestyle) Very satisfied!

I have been searching for a good product to treat my cystic acne outbreaks, and this finally did the job. It's slow to take effect, and requires diligence with application, but it DOESNT dry out your skin like Proactive and some of those other brands. My face would feel like leather even with their moisturizer, this feels refreshing, and barely has any odor or coloration of any kind. Great product! Thank you so much for some relief!

I've been using the larger bottle body cleanse for everything from head to toe, but it does sting the eyes a bit. I thought this would be a more gentle formula for face but it smells and feels exactly the same. The spray doesn't appear to have any significant effect on dry skins. I will stick with the body wash and forgo the spray after I'm done with this kit.

Dislike that the base is coconut, terrible for me with my acne. Price point is pretty high for the size and the spray shouldn't be the same price as the package when purchased alone. It does not last as long as the wash so you're forced to purchase separately. The cost was the biggest deterrent and the main reason I did not reorder.

When I got pregnant, I had the hardest time finding products with minimal and recognizable ingredients. I was so happy to find this product and completely surprised how I immediately saw my skin look so healthy. I wish they had products for all my hygienic needs.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks. I have adult hormonal acne along my chin and jawline. Not bad, but I sure notice it. I've been usin these products along with a spray probiotic. I think the combination has really helped soothe my skin and I've had no new cytstic breakouts since I started using it.

I love this set for acne. It really helps.
